Chickens cannot be killed. Attacking them too much causes a chicken storm that will murder you if you do not get inside a building. The storm lasts for three days.

Having it so that chickens, when attacked get their heads chopped off, but they still run around, much faster and more erratically, making it so you have to chase them to get those eggs/feathers.
If you don't finish them off fast enough, they stain the area with blood, or fill up the area with drowning risk (anime chickens, just roll with it :tongue.gif:). You can collect the blood in a bucket, and use it for various things like demon summoning, or throwing at players wearing leather armor, or making a blood moat.
Demonic summoning is a GOOD idea. This idea belongs elsewhere!

That could be a good option for added realism. It keeps people from camping in dirt huts :tongue.gif:
Realism isn't a part of minecraft...aside for gold being weak and gravity.
