NOT porting Minecraft to the Wii would be a bad idea in the future. Nintendo is probably drooling over the game right now. Just look at all the motions you can make.
the same swing for everything?

I'm not being sarcastic. NOT porting it to Wii later on would be a bad idea, but as this is not a relevant suggestion at this early stage, I posted it in this thread instead.
No. I think mine craft on the wii would just lead to RSI...

How about giant (GIANT! About maybee....say 1,000 blocks tall and 500 blocks wide) creeper that when it explodes it destroys EVERYTHING in the world (even bedrock but that would just make void or more bedrock?) even the sky and it turns into a hell map where there is NO land anywhere just a giant ocean of lava!
Or maybe your in the FAR FUTURE AND EVERY MOB INSTED IS A TERMINATOR!!!THEY HAVE MINIGUNS AS ARMS AND KILL YOU IN .1 SECONDS!!!!!!!!!RAHHHHHH AND THEY SPAWN 1,000,000 OF THEM EVERY NIGHT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!THEY CAN ALSO SHOOT NUKES IF YOUR HOUS EIS MADE OUT OF DIRT!!!!!THE MISSLES CAN DESTROY ANYTHING RAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!! Me: Hey man. What are you going to do on Minecraft?
Friend: Imma go get some gunpowder!
Me: How are you going to kill the Creepers?
Friend: ****, no Walmart in Minecraft?
SUDDEN DEATH mode: ANY kind of damage causes you to explode and spawn a lava block. This applies to all mobs as well: one hit will make them explode and spawn a lava block. Also, your difficulty is stuck on hard.
You should be able to throw shoes as projectiles. They'd do damage based on the material the shoes were made of, and randomly trigger either a sound clip of "Boot to the Head" or turn the mob into George Bush.
The game should randomly go slow-motion when you're confronting hostile mobs, to make the battles more epic.
Some less outrageous ideas, but bad ideas nonetheless.
Ice skates
They would allow you to travel over ice with a faster speed, but also less friction. Has boat-like control, to give it a more ice skate feeling. Moving over other terrain will slow you down, and even damages the ice skates.
Why not?
It only has one use, to be able to ice skate. And perhaps to travel faster, but still.
Skin blocks / wallpapers
Basically blocks that take a different appearance. This appearance is determined by (pre-uploaded) PNG files put in a master list. This master list is there so you could easily manage your skins, so you wouldn't need to re-add the skins the next time. On a server, only OPs and those authorized can upload new skins. An added list is the set list, which basically is a list of skin sets, so that you wouldn't have to assemble the same block over and over again.
Basically a skin block requires two things: a block and wallpaper. First, a block has to be picked. If you put in stone, it will take the properties of stone. If you use glass, it will get all properties of glass. If the block isn't transparent by nature, a black overlay will be used first after which the skin will be placed over, making the block non-transparent.
Next, the wallpaper. It can be crafted with nine sheets of paper. The amount of skins used for one block determines how many wallpapers you need. For example, if each side gets its own skin, you'd need six wallpapers. However, if each side gets the same skin, only one wallpaper is used.
Why not?
Aside from the fact that it's a ***** to implement, it takes away the restricting simplicity of the game, meaning, it takes away from the charm of only having a certain set of blocks to use for your creations.
Hanging lifts
Basically minecarts... that hang! And are automatic. You have two types of tracks, one being the station. This regulates each wagon, making it so the wagons don't all go around at the same time. A wagon only leaves the station if there's no other wagon in the next ten track segments. The station is also the place that regulates the direction of the wagons.
Why not?
Because, It's Midnite. Also, because it's a ***** to implement AND use. You either need ceiling to support the tracks, or the tracks would have to be hanging blocks of something, kind of like fences, only with slopes, which are hard to implement this way, and self-sustaining, meaning they could possibly be placed without supporting blocks.
Some form of wheeled land transportation that's not only faster than the minecart, but doesn't need tracks.
Like a car or motorcycle. XD
It's a given once he puts in oil.
The cars could be composed of multiple parts that you have to craft, and then finally crafting the parts together. They'd go quite fast, so when you crash they'd break and you'd take damage. They could slowly climb up a 1 step slope, but not two steps. Harder surfaces like obsidian and steel would offer more grip, which also means more speed.
Motorcycles would be much less costly to craft and consume much less fuel, but they're deathtraps even IRL, so in game they'd be more terrifying than a creeper at your front door.
I only say this because I had been listening to "Running In The Nineties" for an hour straight. As much of a reject idea it may be, I want to see it happen. I just know nobody else really does. ^^;

Gpses "Lol i have a compass and i dunt knw who to use it so i havz t00 cr@ft a gp$"
How to craft a gps. Put diamond in teh middle glass around it and steel around it there!
You have crafted the most usless item in minecraft!
GPS:Your spawn is...30,000 blocks away
If you combine string and TNT, you get a belt of explosives, which you can put on in your shirt slot.
It doesn't give any armor, and anything that hits you will cause you to explode, killing you, the attacker (as long as it's not a skeleton at long range), and anything else nearby instantly and making a huge crater.
Alternatively, a full set of TNT equipment that is crafted with TNT the same way as existing armor. Instead of providing armor, the equipment explodes the first time you take damage with it equipped, it creates an explosion based on which items you have equipped. The size of the explosion is based on the equipment you're wearing.
Shoes: 3
Helmet: 4
Pants: 6
Shirt: 7
The sum of the numbers for each type of equipment you're wearing is the radius of the explosion. A full set is a 20-radius explosion. Obviously, most of the possible explosions (except maybe from the shoes or helmet by themselves) will instantly kill you.
There was a radar and beacon making thread I think the day before yesterday or something, and according to the poll, a majority actually favored it. I bet there's a bunch of trolls going around voting for bad suggestions in this forum.
Using your logic then I can call you a troll because you want to make blocks stupidly long to mine. (not that I like homing beacons or radars and that other stuff)

No. I think mine craft on the wii would just lead to RSI...
And next morn they all explode leaving craters and potholes in your abode for SPRING CLEANING
