As Bal looked over his glorious creations, he saw they longed to go out and explore. They stared off at the space, longing to know what's out there. They felt a pull of -something- and knew nothing about it. As an act of kindness and expansion, Bal appeared to his people. In his mighty grip, he chose a few to spread the message and brought them to the Divine Forge. He promised he would grant them the ability to traverse the blackness and explore. However, it came at a cost to their eternal flames. Without this, they were much weaker than Bal originally created them. The ones who chose to explore dimmed out, and became shining metal humanoids. Of course, under each of their flames they looked like this. Their heat was transformed into an external energy source, allowing them to traverse the depths of space without contact to magma. Seeing the success, he watched as the first of them were sent off from the Divine Forge. They floated helplessly, with no system of guidance whatsoever. Bal then gathered a chunk of the Great Sun and spread it into the hearts of every Magma-Walker that is and will ever be. They learn to control the magma, much like the Naga control the water. However, they can also create magma from other materials such as rock and metals. The encounter with Bal left many of them stunned and in awe. They begin to worship him, and call the space-faring Magma-Walkers The Chosen, despite the fact that any of them could have had the transformation.
Pennysworth looked over his people. They worked together to get something done. They talked, and interacted with eachother. He chooses the most independant among them, Microlenes. He carved him a wonderous gauntlet out of orthoclase and bestowed it to him. He claims him as his avatar.
As Korom looked over the newly-created universe he was amazed by it, having come from nothing and forged into such beauty by him and his fellow deities. He forges himself a giant axe out of gold to wield. He now knew it was time to take a giant leap, and becomes a mortal himself in the spirit of adventure. He has high expectations of the journey awaiting him.
Korom discovered the chameleos' location, searching for Pennysworth. He talked, and requested to speak with him. Seeing Microlenes he immediately knew it to be his brother. The chameleos were hesitant and untrusting of Korom at first, but Pennysworth was able to speak with him. Through this chat they agree to travel and work together, to see what their universe has to offer and impress them with.

Bal gave his people the choice to gain the ability of space-travel. Some chose to in exchange for their eternal flame, while others decided to stay behind with their friends and families. They were awed by his presence, and began to worship him. After this, Bal gives them the abilities to control magma and to transform other materials into magma. Pennysworth made an avatar named Microlenes, and gave him an artifact gauntlet. Korom made an avatar named after himself with an artifact golden axe. More on artifacts at the end. After this, Korom and Pennysworth agreed for their avatars to travel together. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- ARTIFACTS

So, Korom and Pennysworth both have their AVATARS and ARTIFACTS for them. I'll start making a list of the ARTIFACTS along with who has them/if they're up for grabs and maybe even the AVATARS.
Bal hears Pennysworth's request, and replies happily:
"Brother Pennysworth, I will forge you a suit of armor, however it will not be of Iron. I will forge it out of Baluminum, a much lighter and powerful metal that shines a beautiful dark blue, with streaks of red. Baluminum is also heat resistant, and in this magma-filled universe I expect you to find that very helpful. I will place this set of armor atop the highest peak on the Planet of Chameleos, to test your AVATAR and find out if he is worthy of my armor. Go now, I will have finished forging it, it is within your grasp."
Bal then sets hammer to anvil, and gathering Baluminum from he Baluminum rich Great Sun, he forges a suit of armor made and fitted especially for Microlenes. He then gathers a large sum of Microcline and encrusts it into the suit of armor in a stunning way, weaving them in and out of eachother to create spikes, rings, and designs out of the precious rock. Then he sends it to rest atop the highest mountain on the Planet of the Chameleos. He calls this armor Tosid Moshnun, or the Armor of Suicide.
Bal forges Tosid Moshnun out of Baluminum and encrusts it with microcline, and he then places the artifact armor atop the highest peak on the Planet of the Chameleos.
((Should be a decent first adventure for you two :tongue.gif: Don't forget the steam-beasts and other possibly dangerous obstacles on the way.
Oh yeah, and If your wondering I'm using Dwarf Fortress to name my artifacts. Just go into Name Your Fortress and find what you want, and it'll give you the name in dwarven. The armors named specifically for you, too :tongue.gif:))
Madk introduces trepits to this universe! Trepits are small little beings that emit a strange combination of gleek and glome. When another creature comes close enough to a nest of trepits, the concentration of glome is not only optimal for development of sentience. The gleek also has some effect of enlightenment upon the creature. Then Madk creates Zexrims, organisms that appear similar to an Earth wolf animal, but its chemical makeup relies mainly upon potassium as a substitute for hydrogen, so it cannot itself develop complete sentience. It is naturally programmed to hunt down and eliminate all sentient beings through any means possible. Oh, and they're intelligent enough to achieve space travel only with knowledge lent by instinct.
((By space travel, do you mean space ships? Or something like my Magma-walkers?
Also, due to that fact that the one on the Bay12 forums is getting some maps, I just drew one up for this one along with how I see each creature, in literally 7 minutes. I started drawing it at 6:41. Anyway, although it's low-quality and crappy, I hope you guys will see the game a bit more the same, cus you can't expect everyone to see it the same, right?... Once I get it on my computer... :tongue.gif:
Feel free to draw your own interpretations, too.))
Good timing. I'm not going to have internet access for the next week or so, so I'll have to go into retirement. If this is still going when I get back, I'll rejoin if there's a spot open.
Please with the creatures he made Vorach decides to appear as one of them in the form of a second body, an avatar by the name of Zorath. Vorach creates the avatar Zorath
With his new avatar Vorach decides to create something to symbolize power and unite all his creations. Vorach creates the artifact Death Scepter
when the void that was, where stars and planets now are, mordoiaheru was there, he was all that was, he was the void, and he was content. But then the void was filled. He was full of holes, The nothingness was abrupted. mordoiaheru is unsettled. He focused his His power to this single point, and he condesned into an entinty, And with his new power, He ripped a hole from the galaxy, and around it constructed a planet, with cracked surfaces and shadows of pure nothingness. It is, the heart of the void
mordoiaheru apeared, and created the heart of void.
Korom heard Bal's message to Pennysworth as well, and as soon as the two had united, they were off. Korom was clad in simple yet reliable steel armor, currently brushing off the siren call for these powerful artifacts. For now, his gold axe and miner's pick would have to do (spoken as though they were inadequate. Ha!) The deity in Korom is enjoying saving up his godly ACTs, as he knows they will be very fun in the future... Maybe even very Fun ((Bay12games forum reference)). As for now, they had a place to go and an artifact to claim. Despite his recent spiritual journey through the wilderness, a personal quest to find Microlenos... Or Pennysworth... Korom was unfamiliar with the great lands of this planet; It seemed like the plan wasn't fully thought through. Korom's personal preference would be to wander endlessly in search of every fascinating secret there was to offer, but he understood the problems with that. He remained upbeat, regardless of the very temporary setback. He turned and inquired,
"You've heard the call, then, brother. The peak of the highest mountain; sounds like quite a sight. Dare I ask if you know the way?""
((I mainly ask this because I'm not sure what direction to take as far as playing the adventure. Maybe a map would make for a good start point.))
Okay, threw one together for you two in paint. The Chameleos are at the X, and the mountain is the circle. Lava and forested areas turned out uglier than I'd hoped, although I still think it's pretty good.
"All the cartography says we're bound north north-west. Our journey will be fastest if we keep to the forests, *Korom pauses and recalls when he created them* avoiding mountainous terrain until the last stretch of land to the artifact. Based on the maps, there seems to be a definite stone border separating the magma and the ocean, a hardened and hot divide of the bodies of lava and water. The end of that wall marks the midpoint of our travel. If you do not object, I'd like to leave at the coming dawn; I've packed and readied for the trip."
I'll wait for your confirmation to actually set off.
"No, Instead of a northwesternly route across the planet, may I suggest going Southeast instead? The land will be less traversible, but it's a much quicker route.
I can understand taking the longer route, however. There are many treasures waiting to be probed, and a longer route may be prefferable to this.
Hmm... We shall make for the Northwest at dawn, then. Let me prepare."
((Also, I like that comet [or was it Gleekshine?] there. :biggrin.gif:))

Talent didn't go anywhere, it just gets lost in all the noise. You have to find it.
As Bal hears his brother Pennysworth's request, he accepts and forges a suit of armor, Tosid Moshnun. He knows that his brother desires this, although he doesn't yet completely trust the power of mortals. He also sees that his brother Korom wishes to explore the planet. In order for Microlenes to prove himself, and for Korom to get what he desires most, he sets the armor atop the highest peak on the Planet of Chameleos. He told his brother of his location, and the journey was set in motion.
Madk then creates a race distinctly out of gleek and glome. They emit a strange combination of both, and creatures who approach them become a bit happier due to the glome. He then created Zexrims, creatures similar to a wolf. They are driven by an internal need to kill off all sentient life. They are also intelligent, intelligent enough to achieve space travel.
Vorach watched with pleasure over his beasts, driven by bloodlust. He watched a particular one. This beasts crushed all who opposed him, he was swifter and more agile than any, and showed more signs of intelligence than Vorach expected. Vorach claimed this juggernaut's body and dubbed him Zorath. Then, out of the rock he forged a scepter, a scepter of death, and the beast instantly recognised it's powers.
Mordaioheru was saddened by the coming of things. He was the void, and there was no void left. He constructed a planet with around such a void, where nothing existed. This planet he claimed as the heart of the void, his dwelling and resting place.
As Blackwind awoke from his slumber, he saw the number of now-intelligent creatures and how far the universe had evolved. Thus, he required some himself. He created the humans, a race of fleshy, tan, thinkers. Their skin was pierced easily; they weren't very fast or large. They were far weaker than the life already there, but survived because they thought they thought and improved upon their ideas. They invented things to help them survive and get over their lack of strength.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- SUMMARY
Bal created Tosid Moshnun and set it atop the tallest peak on the Planet of Chameleos. He did this to give Korom and Microlenes an incentive to adventure. Then, madk created two new creatures the Trepid and Zexrims. Vorach selected the mostp owerful of beasts to become his avatar, and called him Zorath, then he created him a scepter of death, the Death Scepter. Mordaiheru then created a planet with a void at the center, and claimed it as his planet. Then Blackwind finally awoke and created humans, a weak, fleshy race of easily-edible killable food creatures. They reproduce quickly and create ingenious inventions. They also live in groups, duh. :tongue.gif:
Anyway, wasn't quite exciting. Or I might just be feeling in a non-writish mood, but either way, more ACTS for all.
Bal looked over the universe once more. He watched as group after group of Magma-Walkers became Chosen and set off on the dangerous voyage. The first one to come to him, he knew was special. A tough and respectful being, his name was Mikaelinos. He also observed that Mikaelinos showed compassion and good will towards the other. Bal knew that this must be rewarded. He appeared to him, as he was in deep flight, nearing to the Planet of Chameleos. Bal took him in his grasp. Mikaelinos was not as phased at the first time, but still rather surprised and amazed. As Bal spoke the words "I have chosen you to be my voice in this mortal world, to venture places with the other god-chosen. You will know them once you find them, and you are to follow my will" Mikaelinos dropped to his knees in agreement on the God's palm. Then Bal placed him on the Planet of Chameleos, in the path of Korom and Microlenes.
then, as Mikaelinos looked around at the unrecognizable surroundings, a sword appeared at his feet. It was of Baluminum, a recognized and known material to him. Weaponry was unknown to the Magma-Walkers, for they never had a need for it. He picked up the hilt with his hand. Immediately a thrust of knowledge pulsed through his body, as he now knew how to use it with masterful skill. This sword was named Dastot Keshan.
Bal chooses Mikaelinos to be his avater and creates him a Baluminum sword, Dastot Keshan
Mordaiheru is the void. and the void consumes. And that was his wish more than anything, To consume Everything. However the gods would without a doubt Eradicate him should he do this. Mordaiheru would be unpleased. He must contain his nature. So he took his heart and merged it with a stone. this stone was Pure black he dubbed it, mordofea. he sent it deep within his earth, and built a temple around it temple. he dubbed it ardacorm.
mordofea was created and placed deeply within an evil temple called ardacorm
Realizing the dangers that could arise from a stone of such power, he took an essence of shadow, and formed a creature
from it, It was a bipedal creature with edges unclear and hazy, and crimson red eyes, these creatures can literally meld with any shadow, and are lethal assassins. They are called the lumbequens, and were chosen to defend ardacorm.
Mordaiheru created the lumbequens to guard ardacorm.
"Okay, Korom. I am ready to set out. The only way to the mountain is across an isthmus going between lava and water. We should stay on the side closer to the water, as we don't know what kind of horrors lie in the red depths. As for a pace, I believe slow and steady will do it. We're not rushing anything, so maybe we can take in the scenery as we travel.
Keep your weapon out. I don't trust the grounds of this planet outside our camp."
Pennysworth, in the meantime, had an idea. He stacked Orthoclase in the image of a person, and gave it brilliant Silver eyes. Then, he willed his life energy into it, making it clutter to life.
"I will call you golem. You obey nobody but me. You are also father of golem. Go and make children, you."
He cast the golem onto the planet of the Chameleos. Pennysworth creates the Golem, magical being of rock. Each golem can make exactly one golem with their magics. They obey Pennysworth, but are otherwise a dimwitted hivemind.
Pennysworth observed the two intrepid adventurers and their strategy closely. Then, an idea formed in his hollow rock head.
"Armor would be better if Microlenos get it behind schedule. The metal would have aged finely... hmm..."
Suddenly, he catches an asteroid out of the sky, and pushes his finger into it, making a crude doorway. He twisted it around, and twitched it. This made room in the asteroid for a good three floors. Then, he cast it down to where he sent the golem.
"Golem. Make this asteroid a temple. It shall be a challenge for my brother, Korom and Microlenos. Engrave its name, 'Inirgunlel' above the entrance. And make it difficult to traverse, too. That is all." Pennysworth creates Inirgunlel, or "Declinedrapes", the Asteroid Temple.
