I plant a money tree and through time magic it is grown in five seconds.
then I give all the trees money to the shop keeper for a healing grape
by the way are bear trap fists and doublades permanent
Bear Trap Fists and DouBlades are one-use items. Meaning that when a player uses them, they're gone.
Rolled a 4!
You dash outside of town, and plant the tree and use the spell. Then you harvest its bearings, a phrase which here means "You took all the tree's money" and take it to the shopkeeper for a Healing Grape.
Following my friends' actions, I buy a Healing Grape.
Rolled a 5!
I alter reality to make some money to buy the Healing Grape.
Buy Time: 2 turns
Healing Grape: Heals a player for 150 HP. (x1) (Roll a 2 or higher)
Bear Trap Fist: Increases the roll output for fist-based attacks by 1. (x1) (Roll a 4 or higher)
I give the shopkeeper a chocolate coin and hope that they're fooled enough to give me a healing grape
Rolled a 1.
Shopkeeper: Thanks for your patro-- hold up a sec...
The shopkeeper unwraps the coin.
Shopkeeper: Chocolate coins. You tried to fool my friend back in the Frostlands, and it won't work on me. I'll need something of real value.
Idelac: Wow. That was, like, way back.
Shopkeeper: Sorry, I'm sold out. Come back later when I restock.
The party leaves the shop. The party observes a scene nearby...
Citizen 1: Hey, you...! Give that back, that's mine!
Criminal: Not anymore, it's not!
The criminal runs off before the party can catch him.
Citizen 1: Damn! Thief! Guards!!
Citizen 2: My friend, it's useless. Ever since the Relic of Justice disappeared, justice has been at an all-time low.
Citizen 1: The relic...?! But it's been missing for who-knows-how-long!
The party huddles together.
Idelac: It seems that the missing relics are causing problems. Remember the town in the Frostlands? The missing Relic of Bravery caused people to fear. Now, here, the Relic of Justice is gone, and nobody even lifted a finger to stop that thief.
algot120: That means we've got to find the relics as soon as possible!
Player_Miner: Okay, but where do we go next?
algot120: Remember the signpost? The Banished Monster Catacombs might have the relic.
Player_Miner: But how can you be sure?
GDog_0 If you're not sure, then we should look for info.
GoldHero101: But where do we get info?
Idelac: Look, there's a library. Maybe that would have the answers we need.
The party enters the library.
Librarian: Oh, hello.
Idelac: Hi there. Do you have any books regarding the Relic of Justice, preferably its history?
Librarian: I...! I think I have something like that... Let me look. Wait here, okay?
The party waits. After a while...
Librarian: Here's the only book I have. All the other books were stolen.
I open the book...
1979: A treasure has been discovered by a group of knights. At the time, the treasure's purpose is unknown.
1982: The treasure's purpose has been found. It seems that the treasure has greatly furthered this town's ability to serve justice. As a result, we dubbed this treasure as the Relic of Justice.
1985: The crime rate of Atlasdam is at an all-time low. According to our records, this year has the least amount of criminal activity.
1989: The Relic of Justice has been stolen. The crime rate is increasing at an alarming rate. Investigators are giving their best effort to find a lead.
1993: A threat has been telepathically sent to us via magic, undoubtedly from the thief. They told us not to search for them, lest our kingdom will be destroyed by their own hand.
1994: Investigators find that the Relic of Justice's stealer is a powerful mage.
1997: Investigators find that the Relic of Justice is being used for one of the mage's experiments.
Present: A theory regarding the Relic of Justice's whereabouts has surfaced. Investigators believe it is in the mage's hideout, in a laboratory embedded within a mountain, guarded by fierce monsters. Countless heroes have been asked to take on the mage, but all of the requested have refused.
Idelac: This might be just what we needed! We've got a lot of info. Let's head out, the relic awaits!
Librarian: Take that book if you want. I'll give any support to help someone find the relic!
The party leaves Atlasdam, and heads for the laboratory.
On the way, the party encounters some monsters!
I stomp the Aggressive Ant.
Surge of Bravery took effect!
Rolled a 7!!! (6+1)
Before I begin my attack, I eat a bunch of red mushrooms that increase my size. Then I jump so high I'm almost out of the atmosphere. Then I shoot down like a comet, feet-first, and collide with the Aggressive Ant. 288 damage to the Aggressive Ant! Unfortunately, my fall causes me not to break only the bones of my legs, but my entire skeleton, due to the intense force of the stomp, which instantly kills me. It also causes a mini-tremor which effects the party.
