This is a revival thread for the long dead forum game "Rituals and boss fights" created by LifeAsRoyalRanger, which I really enjoyed.
Essentially, you summon a monster using ingredients of your choosing. They can be anything, but nothing too dark, and it must contain something dropped by the last monster. You then send the monster to attack the next poster. They find a way to defeat it, and use an ingredient dropped by it to summon a new monster, and this process repeats ad infinitum. Roleplay and character building is allowed, but try not to get too far off topic. And, as always, be creative.
To start us off:
I come across the skeleton of a cyclops, slain long ago. Nearby is a war hammer, made of stone. I take the hammer and anoint it with holy oil and purifying salts. Purifies from the blood it once shed, I offer it to my lord, the bringer of light, who sends down Rampel, the angel of war to be commanded by me one time. I command him to smite the next poster.

A slapp? well, then i stabb baldi and eliminate him. this ruler can help me create this rune that uses a essence dropped by the lord of the moons,
i shall then lure followers to praise this rune and apply another follower to look after these followers. turns out the next poster has angered the lead follower by killing the normal followers. this follower then absorbs the essence of the moon, and battles the next poster.
I get on Solgaleo and tell it use Searing Sunraze Smash to defeat the Moon Lord, causing him to drop the Last Prism. Then I infuse it with dark radiant energy, making sure an Ultra Wormhole is nearby, creating a Necrozma. It possesses Solgaleo, and due to the excessive outpouring of light energy that occurs with the process, it turns into Ultra Necrozma instead. Cue the U-necrozma battle theme as it charges up a Light That Burns The Sky.
Blast the sky-burning light with my fire laser. Simple, but it works.
I take its dark radiant energy, infuse it with my fire magic, and turn the energy into a chemical form. I inject it into another human, creating a dark version of me, only I control it and it is much stronger than me.

Very important news below.
I have forgotten my passwords to my other two accounts. Since the power went out yesterday, two of the computers I use have logged me out, and I have forgotten my names to those Twitch accounts as well. So, from now on, this will be my main account. Thank you for reading.
Unfortunately, your double is vulnerable to light. "Gaudete luminis" Your shadow double dissolves into a shadowy liquid. I paint said liquid on an unactivated iron golem. I then activate it, creating a void metal golem, with twice as much health, speed, strength, and size, and can regenerate from wounds. It strikes out at the next poster in a rage state.

I use a stasis rune to trap it in time, albeit temporarily. While it is immobilized, I draw the runes of banishment around it, condemning it to the void between worlds. In a futile attempt to escape, it gives off large amounts of dark matter, which I use to give my shadow life. (think dr facilier)
Time for a boss fight! (Que Draconic Bow desecrating the Cannonbalrog whilst I take no damage myself because Draconic Shields)
I take the Cannonbalrog’s core, repair it, then make blueprints and alter it with Awakened Draconium before putting it in a golem. It will fire bullets at a staggering pace at anything that tries to mess with my base, it, or me (assuming I’m near my base)

I don the Kanohi Vahi, the legendary Mask of Time, and age the creature's heart and mind to dust, leaving behind a dead corpse.
As I remove my mask, I cut off both hands and imbue them with elemental energy, causing them to swell to great size and burst with power, making them living entities all their own. They immediately seek out the next poster to torment.
My Mii gets in their way and takes them out, revealing the Master Core inside. He takes it’s multiple forms out before smashing it into the death barrier. I arrive when the core is left vulnerable to being completely smashed, and capture the energy released by the core’s destruction.
I use the energy as part of a floating turret that will blast away any intruders that get anywhere near my base.

I've noticed that most mechs are weak to bombs. I swiftly set up C4's around its body, then I detonate them.
I take the metal scraps from the remains of Merry's robot, and use those to make a suit of armor. Then I fill it with monster soul essence to make it a living suit of armor.
(I cape a mob back at it, and it flies back at the Mob Launcher, destroying it.)
I take a Creeper that somehow survived the explosion, then I proceed to clone it several times. I then load them into my newly-crafted Creeper Launcher and fire them at the next poster. Either killing me or simply destroying the weapon works.
I use arrow turrets to shoot at and kill the creeper without being in harms way myself. I slice the head off of it's dead body, and afix it to the hood of a talking car with machine guns strapped to the sides of it.
I unleash robots that break the machine guns off the robot, leaving it with it’s TNT Cannon as it’s only means of attack. I then put a cork into THAT, leading to it doing something called “Self-Destructing” as it tries to fire at me, all whilst I am feeling saddened about what happened all the while.
Using the DNA from the remains of my Creeper’s head, I make a small group of clones that somehow have the memories of the original alongside all the other forms of itself leading up to the robo-creeper’s demise. They then train harder than ever to take revenge on the ones who killed and turned the original into different forms.

BLACK HOLE! AND ME- oh, wait... (All the enemies were consumed by the black hole on it’s own.)
I give the now ultra-massive black hole life and the ability of free movement, and direct it towards the next poster.

I use a magic fire spell to shoot through the center of it, melting the core processor and turning the power stored in it loose.
I take the gun part of the turret and add it as the last piece to my giant, evil, robot that can transform into a jet.

I lure the living armor to an altar, then immediately proceed to sacrifice it in a Cursed Earth Ritual.
I take the monster essence-infused Cursed Earth and use it as a component of my Mob Cannon, which shoots monsters at a frightening pace.

But that’s not fun enough. I melt and brew obsidian into an elixir that kills you on contact.
And I take one of the creepers, mutating it with the elixir, which I dub Chemical X

The Mutant Creeper kills you first, then goes after me. That’s the last mistake it ever makes, as I destroy it with a volley of arrows.
I raise the Creeper Egg that drops from the Mutant Creeper into a formidable fighter.
I use arrow turrets to shoot at and kill the creeper without being in harms way myself. I slice the head off of it's dead body, and afix it to the hood of a talking car with machine guns strapped to the sides of it.

Well, that escalated quickly.
Using my Magitech tablet, I stop the flow of time on it, and shatter it.
I reconstruct the parts into a robo creeper, with a mini gun on each side, and a tnt cannon on top.
