Greetings, browser of the Forum Games section; perhaps the only part of MCF that is worth sticking around for. I am here today to bring you another Forum Game/RP, and possibly also my last.
Anywho, enough about me. This Forum Game is also partially an RP, though you don't necessarily have to play it as an RP if you don't want to (though it is encouraged, your character might do better if you RP well).
In this Game (I'll just call it a game for convenience), all players play a simple character; nobody is stronger than someone else at the start of game. The goal of this game is to escape from the place you find yourself stuck in (I'm not gonna spoil what it is yet), either by finding the random exit (could be anywhere), or being the last surviving player. The game ends when no character is still stuck; mean that everyone is either dead or escaped alive.
Exploration and Risk-Taking are encouraged in this game; you don't get a full map, you only get a map of the rooms/places your character has been in (Though there's nothing stopping you from working with other characters/players you encounter to piece together a full map. Making a full map with info your character couldn't have gotten is risky though; Metagaming can get your character killed). Meanwhile, certain actions can come with risks you didn't expect, and can thus pose a risk to either you or those around you. Then again, there could also be no risk attached, I'm not gonna tell you so you'll just have find it out one way or another.
Anyway, this game isn't just 'Find an exit and kill other players', there's also threats that aren't other players, so working together with other players can be a good idea too. I still get the final word regarding death, so if you write a post in which you just kill another character; don't expect that to actually happen unless you manage to pull off something they couldn't defend themselves against.
Death is permanent in this game; unless you have a friend who somehow manages to revive you, your character getting killed means the end of your participation in this game. Same goes for escaping; but you'll 'score' higher if you escape alive than if you die. I'm not gonna give away exactly how I calculate scores, but I will tell you that escaping early or dying late are good ways to not lose miserably.
As you can see, I'm keeping quite a lot of information on how exactly this game works a secret. That's intended. I can tell you this though: The game won't be stat-based. Anyway, on to the less-fun bit (Rules) and the more fun bit (How to Join and When we Start).
Rules:
- As GM, I have the final word regarding pretty much anything, but I'm a nice person so if you act nice to me there's nothing to worry about.
- No Metagaming. I've said this before, but if you make use of information your character couldn't have gotten, there'll be consequences.
- As GM, I get to decide what your character finds and how battles go. If you're unhappy with what you find or the outcome of a battle, please refer to Rule 1
- Be realistic regarding your actions. Sure, this game isn't entirely realistic, but keep stuff like injuries in mind when you do things.
- Abusing Unintended Loopholes to bypass the rules will get your character killed.

Character Appearance: Fairly tall, though due to a general slouched posture it is difficult to tell his exact height. Leon's hair is a dark grey in color and of moderate length, and entirely unkempt aside from being clear of his face. He is clean shaven, save for what appear to be sideburns but are indistinguishable from the rest of his mess of hair. His eyes are obscured by a pair of aviator style sunglasses, and he wears a dark red hooded jacket, loose-fitting grey cargo pants with the legs rolled up to about halfway up his shins, and a pair of black boat shoes. On his right arm, exposed by his right sleeve of the jacket constantly being pulled up to his elbow, is a series of silver analog watches of an unrecognizable brand, each staggered by 30 minutes with the earliest synchronized to GMT-7 and the last to GMT-4.
Extra Info: Leon woke up here after falling asleep on his couch while watching The Room.

Character Appearance: Short and stout. His black hair is buzzed short at the sides, and the rest is woven into a thin braid that almost reaches his waist. He has swirling, multicolored lines tattooed on his limbs and neck. He wears a dark violet T-shirt and cargo pants. His ears are riddled with a few piercings. He has dark, twinkling eyes and a particularly smug way of breathing.
Extra Info: He is mute, for reasons unknown. His pockets are full of random objects, like rubber balls and bits of string. The most useful of these are a notepad, a few pencils, and some bits of glass that could potentially be used as cutting edges. He fears heights and unstable surfaces.
Edgar wakes up, lying on in an unfamiliar room. How he got there is a mystery to him. The small bedroom he finds himself in is almost silent, no noise except for a clock mounted above the door, ticking backwards. In the room he's in are two doors, a closet and a nightstand, but not much else.
Jaxton awakens, lying on a strange stone altar surrounded by candles in an unknown room of some unknown place. The room is silent and empty except for the three doors that likely lead to other rooms.
Braun wakes up with a minor headache, finding himself in a strange storeroom surrounded by empty bottles with labels in an unreadable language. The room he's in is littered with cardboard boxes and wooden crates, and seems to have two doors.
Marion wakes up from a nightmare she already can't remember, lying on an operating table covered in fresh blood, though she herself doesn't appear to be wounded anywhere. A nearby table has some blood-covered surgical equipment, but the room is otherwise empty. A single door leads out of the room.
Spect suddenly wakes up, though what awoke him he doesn't know, nor does he know where he is, all he can tell is that he's lying in some kind of nursery room, covered in toys. A small closet lines the wall, and a single door provides the exit.
Bob slowly wakes up, sitting at a table in an unfamiliar dining room. The table is prepared for a meal, and a single pan stand in the middle of the table. The other chairs at the table are all pulled back as if someone was sitting there, but Bob is all alone in the room. A cupboard stands against the wall opposite of him, and there are three doors.
Sam looks up from his book. He can't remember starting to read a book however, nor can he remember ever entering the room he's in. The book he was seemingly reading seems to be written in some strange, foreign language, as are the titles of all other books in the bookshelves in this room. There are two doors in this room, presumably leading to other rooms.
Hannah wakes up, sitting in a bathtub full of cold water, still wearing her clothes. How she got here is a mystery to her, but the water is a bit too cold to be comfortable. The bathroom she finds herself in is quite simple, and the mirror above the sink is shattered. There is only one door leading out of the bathroom.

Jaxton glances around and wonders where he is, and deciding that luck is the best way to decide what to do, digging in his pockets for a coin and finding a quarter "Alright, Heads Tails for north, Heads Heads for East, Tails Tails for South, Tails Heads to flip again" He flips it twice, getting Tails, then another Tails, and heads down the to the southern door.

Hannah took a few seconds to realize where she was, confused at first. Upon noticing that she was, indeed in a bathtub of cold water, she quietly and quickly got out of the bathtub. She closes the door, quietly. She then proceeds to take her clothes off and wrang them out over the bath and then flail them about to get as much water out of them as possible. Trying to quickly get the cold water off of them, once this is done she puts them back on, now not soaking wet, but still wet. She then opens the door, and takes a peek outside, to see what is outside the door.

As Leon looks up from the prayer, he blinks a few times before looking around the room, taking in his surroundings. He mumbles something in confusion, stumbling a bit as he stands up. He glances at the watches on his arm, checking that they're all still there and the times they read before turning his attention to the doors, looking between the three before deciding to exit the chapel out the west door.

Having woken up in a cold sweat, she hurriedly pants at whatever nightmare she had. After she spends a minute to calm herself down, she looks around at her surroundings. Some sort of hospital room, she thinks. Then she stares at her short body in confusion, wondering why she didn't have any surgical incisions when the tools and bed were obviously bloodied. Terrible hospital, she thought, either they forgot to keep their facilities sanitary before dumping me here, or... She then realized that something was very wrong. Brushing aside her hair, she gets up, jumps off the table and grabs the equipment beside her in case anyone else might want to kill her. Then she looks at her own back, groaning inwardly at the mess the fresh blood made on her shirt and shorts. She proceeds to walk towards the door and opens it slightly, peering out the narrow crack she made.

Bob slowly wakes up, sitting at a table in an unfamiliar dining room. The table is prepared for a meal, and a single pan stand in the middle of the table. The other chairs at the table are all pulled back as if someone was sitting there, but Bob is all alone in the room. A cupboard stands against the wall opposite of him, and there are three doors.

Sam looks up from his book. He can't remember starting to read a book however, nor can he remember ever entering the room he's in. The book he was seemingly reading seems to be written in some strange, foreign language, as are the titles of all other books in the bookshelves in this room. There are two doors in this room, presumably leading to other rooms.

Hannah wakes up, sitting in a bathtub full of cold water, still wearing her clothes. How she got here is a mystery to her, but the water is a bit too cold to be comfortable. The bathroom she finds herself in is quite simple, and the mirror above the sink is shattered. There is only one door leading out of the bathroom.

Leon looks up from his prayer. Weird. He doesn't remember starting a prayer, nor does he know what deity he was praying to, nor does he have a clue as to when and how he got into this small chapel. There are six benches in the room, and Leon is kneeled in front of a stone altar. There are three doors, maybe one of those will lead to him discovering where he is and why he was praying.

Beth stops rummaging through a cardboard box, he no longer remembers what she was searching for, nor where he is. All he can tell is that he's in some sort of storeroom, and a messy one at that. It's littered with boxes stacked on eachother, and there is only one door leading out of the room.

Sorry for the delays, I had some troubles with getting a good map. The images might be small, but if they are I'll get you guys bigger ones in the next post, as I was in a bit of a hurry. The Black things are walls, the red-brown things are doors. Good luck!
Jaxton glances around and wonders where he is, and deciding that luck is the best way to decide what to do, digging in his pockets for a coin and finding a quarter "Alright, Heads Tails for north, Heads Heads for East, Tails Tails for South, Tails Heads to flip again" He flips it twice, getting Tails, then another Tails, and heads down the to the southern door.
Hannah took a few seconds to realize where she was, confused at first. Upon noticing that she was, indeed in a bathtub of cold water, she quietly and quickly got out of the bathtub. She closes the door, quietly. She then proceeds to take her clothes off and wrang them out over the bath and then flail them about to get as much water out of them as possible. Trying to quickly get the cold water off of them, once this is done she puts them back on, now not soaking wet, but still wet. She then opens the door, and takes a peek outside, to see what is outside the door.

As Leon looks up from the prayer, he blinks a few times before looking around the room, taking in his surroundings. He mumbles something in confusion, stumbling a bit as he stands up. He glances at the watches on his arm, checking that they're all still there and the times they read before turning his attention to the doors, looking between the three before deciding to exit the chapel out the west door.
Having woken up in a cold sweat, she hurriedly pants at whatever nightmare she had. After she spends a minute to calm herself down, she looks around at her surroundings. Some sort of hospital room, she thinks. Then she stares at her short body in confusion, wondering why she didn't have any surgical incisions when the tools and bed were obviously bloodied. Terrible hospital, she thought, either they forgot to keep their facilities sanitary before dumping me here, or... She then realized that something was very wrong. Brushing aside her hair, she gets up, jumps off the table and grabs the equipment beside her in case anyone else might want to kill her. Then she looks at her own back, groaning inwardly at the mess the fresh blood made on her shirt and shorts. She proceeds to walk towards the door and opens it slightly, peering out the narrow crack she made.

Bob looks into the cupboard to find 2 boiled eggs and a package of orange juice, he eats his meal and then looks around to figure out where he is right now. Bob heard a voice coming from the south door, then the voice stopped speaking. There was a sound of a door opening and closing. And bob decided that he will stay and listen.
What again?
Beth blinks, eyes darting over the room. He tugs his hands free, idly kicking over the box he'd been searching as he distantly contemplates the door.
