The fact that this is a port/continuation doesn't mean that it doesn't have any tricks of it's own! Before the start of each match, 20 characters will be chosen by the posters to fight in the battleground chosen via vote out of 5 poster-chosen battlegrounds. The battleground only has effects on the story of the match, and NOT the outcome of it. During the pre-match phase, there are no time limits that can affect how many times you can post. Once the match starts, the saving phases in Rounds 1-15+ will begin. When there are only 5 or fewer characters remaining when a round starts, there will be a final deathmatch-style round where each poster choses a fighter to attack another fighter, dealing damage to the target and restoring health to themselves.
No Double Posts.
1 Action Post/h unless specified otherwise.
Champions (winners of previous matches) cannot be chosen to fight again!
Format is: Name (Franchise, Match Won)
Shepard (Mass Effect, won Forum Arena)
Kaito (Vocaloid, won Match 1)
I choose Steve to be a competitor, and choose an arena to be an abandoned lab that used to do research on items from many worlds to see how they work to get a better understanding of how the worlds the items are from work, how the omni-verse works, and how to improve those items.
Well I'm humbled that you guys liked the forum arena enough to continue it, and to get so excited about the continuation. I guess I'll post a bit, should be a lot easier and more enjoyable than doing all the updates. Just to mix things up I'll nominate a coliseum-style gladiatorial arena, which is what I was imagining in the first thread. And I think you already know which character I'm nominating... Behold:
The Forum Arena Chapter II: The Character Battlefield and Greninja's Redemption
