Don't intentionally railroad the story to only being what you want it to be.
Don't post overly long sections of story meant to control it for an extended period. If a new story is started, there will be some additional leniency on this.
Don't post more than 1-2 sentences for the story frequently for reasons other than negating rule breaks, as that can reduce the effects of others' posts.
Please have a reason for things coming out of seemingly nowhere. For example, a Nether Portal appearing and someone (or something) coming out of it is ok, but things like summoning a nuke out of nowhere for no reason that is about to explode right in front of the group is not. So is dropping a massive anvil on the monster that is about to eat the group.
Speaking of which, don't inexplicably remove things either, or remove massive things in a single post. For example, a bridge collapsing below a giant, dropping it into an abyss is ok, but simply deleting it isn't. Also, small towns could be destroyed easily, but an empire shouldn't, unless it's surprisingly small.
Don't cause random teleports without good reason during a serious situation. For that matter, don't teleport the group into danger without, for instance, another character triggering the teleport. For instance, teleporting the group to an important location or near, but not next to danger is ok, but teleporting them into or out of danger without anyone or anything doing something to cause it isn't.
I will start the story off.
Once upon a time, there was a boy named Stanley.
He was a great student, scoring very well in his classes.
He loved to learn, especially when it came to programming and computers.
But one day, something unusual happened.
After he woke up and got dressed, he went downstairs. However, his parents weren't there, and there wasn't even a message saying where they went. Checking the clock on his device, it was Wednesday, March 15. If there was a snow day or something else cancelling school, they would have told him already. After getting his pre-packed lunch and backpack, he went outside.
