Hold up - Shepard was already safe, I believe. Between Player_Miner and my posts, there were two Shepards before there were two Kirbys.

"Immediately after the epic fight between Greninja and Shulk, Kirby got the ESP Copy Ability and went all out on Shepard. Kirby started the fight off with a PK Electroshift hitting Shepard directly. Then, Kirby proceeded to destroy Shepard, avoiding all of his opponent's attacks with Vanish/Reappear and hitting Shepard with PK Shifts. Then, Shepard was left on the brink of death, while Kirby was on the brink of exhaustion. Yet, Kirby could totally finish Shepard off, right? WRONG. Out of seemingly nowhere, Greninja appeared and interrupted Kirby's finishing PK Shift with a Water Shuriken to the back. Greninja then proceeded to combo Kirby and knock him into a room that contained a Shield Generator that Symmetra left behind, which, as you would expect, was guarded by her turrets. The turrets then happily proceeded to fry Kirby. Greninja, outside of the room and the turrets' lines of sight, nodded towards Shepard, then took off."

Also, could next round be "All fighters but one die, taking three individual votes to survive."?

"Luigi was minding his own business, when Link jumped him from behind. Due to Luigi's cowardly nature, he immediately jumped after hearing Link's shout, avoiding the blade that was swung at him. Luigi turned around and backed away, obviously scared. Link then took a second swing at Luigi that managed to almost cut of half of both of his hands, much less break a single bone in them. It was at this moment that Luigi got SERIOUS, using a fire flower to pummel Link with fireball after fireball. Link was hit with the first few that came his way, before blocking the rest with his shield. Link, having seen what happened before with Kirby, then tried to shoot an Ice Arrow at Luigi to freeze him to that Link could easily slide him into the mini laser turret and shield gen chamber of death. Unfortunately for him, Luigi was faster to activate an Ice Flower to freeze Link solid instead. Luigi then shoved Link towards the same chamber that Kirby was fried in. The turrets fried the ice surrounding Link and fried him almost to death before he escaped the room. Then Luigi went after Link using Green Missile. Link was caught off-guard by the attack, performing a quick sidestep at the last second by sheer coincidence. Now, instead of performing a Flurry Strike, which is what he'd normally do, he just let the opportunity slip by on purpose so that Luigi just flew into the room. The last that was seen of or heard from Luigi this match was a horrible scream and his charred, smoking corpse."

The announcement bellowed through the forum arena - the first of its kind. Each combatant stopped, suddenly sizing the others up. Holographic bars appeared over their heads.

Each player must select two characters - one to attack and one to be attacked. The attacker drains one point health from the victim, regaining one lost point themselves. Last man standing wins.

You think that's all there is to it, though? Just you wait.

Link attacks Shepard with a sweeping overhand blow of his sword, spouting his signature catchphrase: "HYAAH!"

Link slices Shepard with the Master Sword, following up with a bow shot.

Greninja throws a water shuriken at Link.

OT: Shepard retaliates against Greninja, the former shooting the latter.

Switching the health to numbers because MCForum removes the colours from the bars whenever I copy-paste them. As you might imagine, that makes things hard. Greninja uses night slash on Link.
