Welcome to The Planet, a casual RP similar to The Box and the Diddly Do RP. This RP however, is not set in a box, nor a Universe, but on a planet. It also has some rules, as opposed to The Box's rule-less chaos, but nothing too complicated.
This is the map of the planet:
You're free to edit the map to add your base/empire/whatever. Keep in mind that this planet is about the size of earth. The rivers shown on the map are the big rivers, but there are others.
Here is the non-heightmap version of the Planet, so you can add what you own more easily:
And a version with claimed land:
There are also two moons. These are accessible, but nothing else is, so no intergalactic stuff. (Maybe later, but I'll decide on that)
The moon of Eliar is similar to Mars, no water, but there is ice.
The moon of Asuras is quite hellish. High temperatures, Lava seas and other generally unlikable stuff.
So, without further ado, the rules:
1. If somebody wishes to not interact with somebody, don't force them too. If somebody tells you to stop OOC, then stop.
2. You are free to decide your own tech level, there is no 'standard' tech level. You're free to play a caveman civilisation while someone else has computers and such.
3. You are free to add your own 'NPC' nations/civilisations for you and others to interact with. The person who created an NPC civilisation controls it (Unless they give somebody else permission to control it).
4. First come, first served. Same goes for here. You can't claim things others have claimed, nor can you change someone else's environment. If someone is having a fantasy-like war with an Orc faction, you can't come in and say that there's a hyperadvanced civilisation there. The map is big enough for everyone, so try and respect each other. 5. Any weapon capable of levelling a city or stronger is not allowed. The most powerful weapons can destroy a bunch of troops instantly but nothing that can destroy entire armies, cities, etc.
HOWEVER, this does not justify using absurd amounts of a weapon to annihilate large portions of enemy forces/land. Keep Superweapon use to a minimum.
6. There are no flawless weapons. No shield is impenetrable, no weapon is flawless, no armour is invincible.
7. If you go overboard, expect retaliation. If you don't play fair (by breaking the rules), don't expect me to either, and I might look the other way when someone breaks a rule to punish you for going overboard (By dropping superweapons on your empire after you continued waging war on others after they specifically told you to stop.)
8. If things escalate even further and it can't be stopped in-RP, I'll use my GM powers to put a stop to it. If I make a post with GM: [something], then that is FINAL, and you cannot oppose it. (So if I cause your empire to be destroyed with a GM post, you'll have to deal with it.)
9. Don't control things that don't belong to you.
Other than that, you are free to do as you wish. There is no application process either.
Suddenly an empire appears on Asuras, it is a new empire, unlike the rest. They send out a few scouts to the planet. The Empire is cloaked and sets up a cloaked base on the planet and a cloaked orbital base.
The scouts come across a large island Nation (marked red on the map). It has harbours with huge ships, some of which carry entire cities.
*Suddenly, the portal opens from nowhere and starting to spew out all the characters from alfieq's army and its forces. They're now stranded on an island of an unknown world with little information.*
Commander: The heck just happen?!
Officer #1: Hmm, this place seems new.. I don't think we are back from the home world by any means.
Commander: THEN WHAT DIMENSION ARE WE IN NOW, Officer #1?!
Officer #1: I don't know, and I'm not a navigation expert, sir!
*Then suddenly their base from the box falls out from the sky, crashed into a ground and causes a large wreckage and debris flying all over the place.*
Soldier #102: Jeebus! Is that our base?!
Soldier #300: I'm afraid so! Take cover!!
*Some troops are caught from a debris explosion and some getting injured by it. In other time after a final debris explosion from the sky, the Commander has ordered his men to rebuilt a base and redoing a whole exploration plan again.*
The scouts walk in and get as much information as possible, while the Bandits are stealing stuff in a random village. Meanwhile The Occult United have been conquering the Area around the North (Ones that have their main base on Asuras)
OOC: Info about what? Also, to edit the map, just download/copy it and edit it with whatever program you like
A strange rock, engraved with many designs and swirling with magic emerges from a rift. The grass around it begins taking on a bluer hue, and wisps begin to emerge from the magic being drawn from the area around them.
The wisps begin flying around, carving symbols and designs into the various other rocks around the place, and each begin glowing similar to the larger one. Some of the rocks are brought back to the larger one.

I notice something about the island I stopped at after sailing a long ways: It seems to be some sort of Minecraft-esque world. I decide to stop my adventure short and settle next to a river.

Zyn claims the small island in the Southeast of the largest area and begins setting up a base of operations with about 2 thousand mages
OOC: oh hey cool
OT:
A Meteor, made out of some grey-purple rock falls on the dead center of the map, the surrounding area is transformed into this.

This is my forum game, play it
OOC: So it lands in the middle of the ocean? You should be more clear where it lands, since there are 3 planets (2 of which are moons).
The scouts come across a large island Nation (marked red on the map). It has harbours with huge ships, some of which carry entire cities.
Zyngards mages have created a base of operation and begin setting up mechanical defenses around the base.
I come out of the portal from "The Box", mark the location down, then move far away from everything else that's going on.
Jay flies out of the Portal from the Box, and lands on a floating Island above the Ocean.
Uhh... what was that? *shrugs* Oh well, doesn't look like it'll be too bad to deal with.
*Suddenly, the portal opens from nowhere and starting to spew out all the characters from alfieq's army and its forces. They're now stranded on an island of an unknown world with little information.*

OOC: Paint.net Also, where are you stealing from?
OOC: I mean, from an NPC faction or from my nation?
I head for the island furthest south-east from the blue-marked island, but end up stopping at the further island that's inbetween those two.
OOC: Which planet? Also which colour?

Meet Ashen the shoulder dragon!
OOC: Updated Map:
Blue is Alfieq
Red is me
Beige-green-ish-whatever is 9314265068
Gray is Starlight
*While they're rebuilding their base, the recons began to scout the island for updating its new map.*
The wisps begin flying around, carving symbols and designs into the various other rocks around the place, and each begin glowing similar to the larger one. Some of the rocks are brought back to the larger one.

Jay's floating Island finds itself near an Island, He claims the Island.
