Wait. What. Why did my post say the same thing twice?...
Oh right. Must have been that Double Cherry Soda I drank earlier. Well, for the next few seconds I have a doppelganger, so might as well make the most of it! My double and I attack the ruin core from both sides with a series of punches, kicks, and gunshots, synchronized to cause maximum damage.
The two of you deal 500 + 100 damage to the ruin core! +31 XP!
I grab the S in “Sunder”, and throw it at the C in “Ruin Core” to knock it out, resulting in Sunder being renamed to “under”, and the Ruin Core being renamed to “Ruin ore”. I then proceed to summon a large drill drone to drill out the “ore”.
You're in a massive chamber. Directly across from you stands the prismatic being. To the sides, you see two psionic gateways leading to unknown destinations. The unusual architecture of the area can be used as effective cover.
Homing Missile [$175]: Deals 200 damage and is guaranteed to hit.
Yellow Ray [$125]: Instantly destroys a single enemy, but has a recharge time of two waves. Cannot be used on bosses.
Blue Shell [$120]: Targets the enemy with the highest HP and explodes, dealing your minimum damage to them. Never misses.
Plasma Bolter [$150]: Grants two uses of the Coalition soldier's Plasma Bolt ability.
Concussion Grenade [$120]: Launches all enemies away from a tile with minimal damage, either launching them into the air for high fall damage, or sending them flying.
Ballistics Gel Armor [$130]: Has 200 HP. When active, wearer takes half damage, and the armor takes half of the reduced damage. Halves movement speed.
Invincibility Candy [$200]: Grants you invincibility for 2 turns and increases your damage dealt to nearby enemies by 50% (stacks with Close and Personal).
Steroids [$100]: Increases your max HP by 200 for the rest of the mission. Sets current HP to 20.
Instant Tree Seeds [$100]: Instantly grows a tree that can be used as high cover. Comes with 2 uses.
Medkit [$50]: Use this item when healing to significantly increase the heal's effectiveness.
Smoke grenade [$40]: Create a cloud of smoke, providing 20 evasion to anyone in the smoke.
Glue Gun [$40]: Reduces target's evasion to 0 for 3 turns.
Flashbang [$40]: Stuns all enemies for 1 turn.
Distraction Disco Ball [$180]: Distracts multiple enemies and gives them -15 evasion.
Determination Bomb [$50]: Use on an ally to fill them with determination, increasing the damage of their next 2 attacks.
Antigrave [$100]: Revives a KO'd player. Can only be used once per wave.
Reinhardt's Shield [$150]: Deploys a shield that protects you and two allies next to you. Can take 1,000 damage before breaking.
Neuralyzer [$75 x enemies affected]: Puts the team in stealth mode.
Splash Potion of Healing [$90]: Heals all units in a radius. WARNING: Will also heal enemies.
Creeper Spawn Egg [$90]: Throw to spawn a creeper that will explode near the nearest unit. WARNING: Has no sense of friend or foe.
Marker [$150]: Grants two uses of the Enforcer lieutenant's Mark Target ability. Can only have one marked target at a time.
Bribe [$125]: Cause an enemy to join your side for 4 turns.
Wheelbarrow [$60]: Allows you to move things like turrets and cover around. Moving things halves your speed. 3 uses.
Shovel [$50]: A folding shovel that can dig trenches to create low cover. Can also be used to dig an enemy's grave, since it's also an effective weapon. 4 uses.
Restroom [$250]: Has 350 HP. Acts as mid cover. One person at a time can enter the restroom, transferring all damage they take to the restroom and regenerating 15% of their max HP every turn. You automatically exit after a turn. Does not follow between areas.
Handful of MRSA [$50]: Reduces an enemy's damage output by 15%, while increasing the damage they take by 15%. Effect spreads to nearby enemies in a large radius. Lasts 2 turns, and can be reapplied. Enemies will move away from infected, but infected can be pushed toward enemies a short distance.
Robobot Armor [$340]: Has 1.5x the wearer's HP. Allows the wearer to copy an enemy instead of performing a normal action, granting the wearer a unique ability. The ability is lost when the wearer is attacked. Regenerates 7.5% HP per turn (for Robobot armor).
PAMA [$125]: Allows you to take control of an enemy for 3 turns. Can only be used once per mission. Control is lost if submerged in water.
Pogo Hammer [$60]: When held, attacking an enemy will bounce them to another enemy. Doesn't apply when there's only one enemy alive. Has 3 uses.
Arcane Wii Remote [$90]: Teleport a unit to another tile. Cannot be used on yourself.
Portal Pistol [$90]: Create two interconnected portals on the map, allowing you to move through them as if they were adjacent. Allows deployment of two pairs of portals.
Teleport [$75]: Swap locations with another unit. Comes with two uses.
Card Pack [$110]: Draw five cards, each with their own effects.
EFLN [$40]: Can be used to destroy cover or other structures. WARNING: Do not detonate next to friendly structures.
Portable Radar [$75]: Can be used to reveal the next enemy squad, or mark all enemies, reducing their evasion. Comes with 2 uses.
Super Mushroom [$100]: Restores 25% of your HP and increases your damage output by 25% until you take damage.

I fall to my knees, bleeding out. "This... isn't how I go." I get up and pull out all my grenades and stuff them into my gun. "I'M TAKING YOU WITH ME." I fire a large explosive shot at the Prismatic Being, blowing it to KINGDOM COME. "Heh..." I pass out on the floor from bloodloss afterwards.

[Avatar] A render of two of my OCs in a Minecraft format.
I tear open the dimensional veil by shooting my VMP at the Prismatic being, and dropping out of the rift, among other things, were splash potions of healing and night vision, restoring health to those bleeding out. Pooh Bears honey pot also landed on my head, blinding me for one turn. I somehow input C.

You expend all of your grenades to bring down the prismatic being! +300 XP to all players!

You heal yourself for 40 HP, reviving yourself! +18 XP! C is correct!
The prismatic being stumbles backwards, letting out a horrible cry of pain. Its form begins to destabilize, with several appendages breaking off in a flash of bright light. The vibrant glow of its eyes begins to fade. A massive explosion of light accompanies its complete deconstruction, and it collapses into a large pile of prismstone and circuitry. The remaining enemy forces notice the prismatic being's death, and immediately lay down their arms in surrender.
Gold: Damn, that was tough.
Bio: I had full confidence in our abilities.
Beside the remains of the prismatic being, you notice a large storage cache. After disengaging the lock (with a bullet), you find several sets of armor inside. There's enough to supply your entire team! You also find 1,000 credits!
Bacon: We should probably get some help to bring all this prismstone back to base.
Pippin: There's got to be thousands of crystals there...
There are exactly 1,000 prismstone crystals in the pile. You call for assistance and, after several hours, you fully loot the Prism Chamber.
Algot: Okay, I've had enough for one day. I need a break.
Gold: I think we all do.
Mission complete!

As you return to base, you are greeted by several HLF personnel, cheering for you and praising you. Marshall approaches you.
Marshall: Incredible work out there, Epsilon. You've proven that no matter what the Coalition throws at us, we can handle it.
Bio: All in a day's work.
Marshall: You've made humanity proud today, team. Well done.
You take some time to celebrate. Unfortunately, you still have a war to fight, and thus must also prepare for battle.

South Africa, I fuse the Prismatic Armor, Power Armor, and Unbreakable Armor to create the Omnicharged Durable Armor. I then fuse the X12 Prism with the X21 Spear to create the Spear of Ever Changing Elements. (or the Spear of ECE for short). Interrogate someone for our research, nothing overly interesting right now. Scan Arms Dealer, we have tons of cash, and finally talk to the Team Meta Representative.

I vote for the Sniper Autopsy on Research and the UFO for Scanning Site.
I look at the Prismatic armor and then look at my own armor. "I wonder..."
If possible, my Electrified armor has been reforged with the Prismatic armor to create a new and improved armor called 'Prismatic Lightning'. If not, I simply switch out my armor for the new one.

+Votes. You combine the gear and equip it. You talk to the Meta representative.
Meta representative: There you are. I've been waiting for you.
Gold: And you would be...?
Meta representative: I represent team Meta. You might have heard of us. Then again, you might not have...
Gold: I haven't.
Meta representative: I suspected as much. Marshall didn't like the way we did things, so he kicked us out and stripped our name from the records.
Gold: Then what are you doing here?
Meta representative: Watching from the shadows. Meta's trying to find worthy soldiers who are willing to do what it takes to win this war. You've done some great work. I think we can help each other.
Gold: We're all on the same side. We're supposed to help each other.
Meta representative: Yeah, but that's not what the game master is going for. He wants optional challenges that give decent rewards, and we're happy to oblige.
Gold: What are you talking about?
Meta representative: Not important. We'll give you some objectives. You complete them, and you'll win our support. You might even get to meet the boss. What do you say?
Gold: ...Alright, we're in.
Meta representative: Good man.
He walks away. Seems like Meta challenges are available. You wonder if you actually want help from these people.

Mysterious man: You killed the prismatic being. There may be hope for this timeline yet...
Bacon: Can't you just tell us what's threatening the timeline?
Mysterious man: Just keep decrypting my notes. It'll become clear once you're done. You're almost there.
Bacon: ...Alright.
Mysterious man: Also, you should probably hit those story missions soon. The end of time awaits no one.
Bacon: ...Story?
He leaves.
Most players voted to contact South Africa and investigate the arms dealer. Due to ties in voting, RNG decides the chosen research project is the cyber soldier interrogation.
[Status report]
...
June 26th: Interrogation of the cyber soldier is complete. We've learned to adapt part of their construction for our own purposes, though we currently lack the facilities to utilize the technology.
Interrogation report:
We asked the specimen how the Enforcers managed to create so many functioning cybernetic enhancements. As it turns out, it is mostly the Coalition's doing. The specimen would say no more. We studied its body, and figured out a way to make it function for our own troops, without sacrificing so much of their humanity.

Check out my new game, Legends of Aekran!
His world shalt be entered on the day of legends.

My Characters
Hi! This is me, hello!
I'm Vevos! HIS INNER DEMON.
Get out! I'm Alice!
Hey! I'm Draco!
Please help my Pokemon grow: http://pfq.me/GoldHero101
*Tries to shoot, only to find a lack of ammo* “No! Not now! *sigh* Null Cannon.” *buys a Null Cannon from a wireless shop grid and fires it at the Prismatic Being*
I bring any downed teammates back to life using sorcery, and if I can, slap the Prismatic Being in the face.
If you've met TehEpicNinja9001, you've met me. Somehow lost the account's password and email. Maybe I'll try and get it back one day. Or maybe not.
Apparently, if you put these in your signature, people will click them. Help me grow my Pokemon dudes!
Since Gold is not fully dead yet, I patch his critical woulds and spray him with some vitamins. It should be better soon
If the Prismatic Being is still alive, I use the Null Cannon to nullify it’s life. Otherwise, I swap in a new magazine with teleportation.
#FOXESFORMINECRAFT Foxes for Minecraft forum.
You expend all of your grenades to bring down the prismatic being! +300 XP to all players!
You buy a null cannon.
You heal Pippin for 50 HP. +6 XP.
You heal Gold for 80 HP. +10 XP.

Check out my new game, Legends of Aekran!

What mysterious quality is MD? I upgrade it because i'm curious.
I fuse my Prism with Null cannon and create a Prismatic Null Cannon.
Attack up. Also, what do radio towers do? If it’s just more income, then I don’t see why not to get them.
I choose to increase MD.

MD is minimum damage. It's the lowest amount of damage you can deal in a single attack. +15 MD!
Since Prism weapons exist in infinite supply, you only slightly boost the null cannon's power.
Close. It's minimum damage. Maximum damage is (MD x 5).
+15 MD! Radio towers increase income and make contact with certain regions cheaper.
+Votes.
You fuse the two armor sets.
+15 MD!
+Votes. You talk to the mysterious man.
We studied its body, and figured out a way to make it function for our own troops, without sacrificing so much of their humanity.
...
June 28th: Contact has been made with the arms dealer. He's willing to sell us some unique weaponry, for a price.
