Distribute Juggernaut armour to Bio then I distribute the reinforced armour to Kadoink and I take a look at the glowing spark to see what's the sense of corruption around...
You give the juggernaut armor to me, and I equip it. You also give the reinforced armor to ka_doink.
As you approach the spark, it begins to glow brighter. You begin to feel a sense of dread as you reach out to touch it. As soon as you do, it disappears in a blinding flash. When your vision clears, you see a rift. Looking through it, you see a lone figure standing in the darkness. A voice calls to you from the rift.
"...Well, that was certainly more impressive than I expected. Again!"
Pew pew you know what I'm doing. It's a cannon, and I'm in melee range of a giant monument that we have to destroy. There is only one logical conclusion to be drawn from this.
Well, for a given definition of logic.
MASSIVE DAMAGE! 642 damage to the monument! +42 XP!

"Do we want to be the mediocre brimstone boy, or do we want to be the more-than-enough brimstone man?" - Northernlion
Gotta need to heal myself while fighting this boss i guess...
+75 health to you. +5 XP.
Most players voted to fight the boss.
You all decide to step into the rift and face this creature. The lone Coalition officer watches in horror as you seemingly fade from existence.
. . .
You emerge on a stone platform. You look around, and only see an endless, dark void beyond the area. Distant screams slowly fade into clarity. Wherever you are, you get the feeling that you don't belong here.
Embodiment of corruption: You have arrived.
Turning to look at the entity, you see its form more clearly. It simply appears to be an ordinary human, sitting on a stone altar. Its body seems to rapidly twitch and shift.
Engie: No need to wait for us. We're here to kill you.
Embodiment of corruption: How amusing.
Bio: You have heard of us, right? We're basically indestructible gods of war.
Embodiment of corruption: [smirks] You have never faced one such as I.
Pricey: We're not afraid of you.
Embodiment of corruption: Oh, and why not?
The entity lets out an ear-piercing scream, shaking the entire platform. When it stabilizes, you see the creature seemingly absorbing light around itself.
Embodiment of corruption: We fight on my terms now.
You're on a stone platform. There's a decent amount of cover in the form of several occult altars. Beyond the platform, there is nothing but endless darkness.

Here's how this fight will work.
Step 1: Kill every enemy. This will cause a spark of corruption to spawn.
Step 2: Kill the spark of corruption to disrupt the boss' shield.
Step 3: Attack, attack, attack!
Step 4: As the fight goes on, you may need to kill more sparks to disrupt the boss' shield.
Step 5: If the fight goes on for too long, the corruption level will begin to rise. Don't let it get too high.
"...So, kill things? Sounds like my kind of mission objective."
I decide, out of curiosity, to try buying a Flamethrower from the shop if allowed to, equipping it if I successfully purchased it, then moving into close quarters with the Mistake and proceeding to attack it full force, either with a giant claw or with a flamethrower depending on which one I have out. Might as well also see how hard those claws hit while I'm in close range, so I'm certainly not backing off yet.
Overall, I'm gonna take some things from Rise of the Coalition to use the in Retribution. There'll be individual classes and levels for everyone, but I'm not sure if I should bring back the map. Reloading won't be necessary in Retribution.
If you have any specific questions, I'd be happy to answer them.

You buy and equip a flamethrower, walk up to the mistake, and burn it for 451 damage + burning! +29 XP!
Suddenly, the corrupted entity took a few shots but the bullet holes are light coloured then the entity fell on the floor before it got shot in the face by a gast-No undertrash cancer, please... then the warning sign throws a gaster blaster at the entity before both explodes into bright-light.

I give the anomalous blight a magnifying glass. The blight, being possibly non-sentient and definitely non-terrestrial, has no idea what to do with it, but it holds it up in the air and inspects it carefully. Unfortunately, the blight is holding the magnifying glass up to the sun, causing its eye-analogue to burn. The blight yelps in pain and clutches its eye, but I tied a joy buzzer to its hand, causing it to shock itself. The electrical shock, combined with the powers of the sun inherent in the magnifying glass, concentrate in the blight's burnt eye, giving it an eye laser beam. The blight realizes that it now has a superpower and decides to fight crime as Eye Laser Man. Eye Laser Man sets out on its first mission - clean up the city streets. It hears a woman calling for help, and rushes to investigate. A purse-snatcher has a tight grip on a woman's purse, and brandishes a gun at Eye Laser Man. Eye Laser Man uses its eye laser to disintegrate the purse-snatcher. The woman is traumatized. Suddenly, it's the supervillain Bitetongue, with the power to make people bite their tongue! He's raiding a bank by making people bite their tongues so they can't stop him from making off with the money. Bitetongue notices Eye Laser Man trying to foil his plot and makes him bite his tongue, but Eye Laser Man is an anomalous blight of corruption and has no tongue to bite, or teeth to bite with, or even a mouth for that matter. Eye Laser Man shoots Bitetongue with its eye laser, killing him in a burst of blood and gore. He rushes off to fight more crime. Close to the bank is a large crowd. The mayor is giving a speech to the citizens of the city about the new taxes. He's raising taxes to raise funds for more public works. Eye Laser Man hates taxes and doesn't believe in more public works, so he shoots the mayor. However, the mayor is actually Eye Laser Deflector Man in his secret disguise, and manages to deflect the eye laser back to Eye Laser Man, blowing Eye Laser Man's mask and costume off. The crowd doesn't know what the anomalous blight in front of them is and run away screaming. Eye Laser Deflector Man runs over to the blight and punts the eye laser powers right out of it. The kick is so forceful that a miniature black hole opens and sucks the blight in, then returns it to where I am again.

You take the black hole projector. +Vote.

Check out my new game, Legends of Aekran!
"...Am I the only one concerned at the fact that neither the behemoth or the blight are showing up on our map at all? That seems kinda concerning."
With that out of the way, I do my best to walk over to the embodiment of corruption. Too bad he's probably only just a bit too far away for me to get nice and close to... Eh, it'll have to do, EAT FLAMETHROWER FIRE TO THE FACE, EMBODIMENT!
GODDAMN IT
STUPID GENDERFLIP VIRUS

If you've met TehEpicNinja9001, you've met me. Somehow lost the account's password and email. Maybe I'll try and get it back one day. Or maybe not.
Apparently, if you put these in your signature, people will click them. Help me grow my Pokemon dudes!
I pour skittles down the blight's throat-analogue until it vomits.
