Every few posts, I give you a mystery to solve. If you do not get things right, I'll give you hints. When 1 mystery is finished, I'll make up another one.
It was a night where all the power went out. A man was carrying a candle through the hallway. 1 day after you come to investigate his death. A whole team is at your disposal and you need to find clues, hints and even working with the voice in your head(ME), which has solced countless crimes.
Read some posts before you guess.

If it was a projectile, what's it doing outside the victims body, if the killer took time to move it than he/she would surely have gotten rid of it, and why write money upon the floor as though to make us conclude for money, meaning this is likely for alternate motives or such,
I examine the lottery ticket to see the date and compare it to the current date.

maybe the dude flung the toothpick in then the man who it hit moved it out of him and he was killed on the bed
It was a red herring (fake clue) it's actually red paint. Our forensics found that out. Moving on.
The lights in the room suddenly turned off and then on after a while. 2 minutes later Janet was lying on the floor with a gunshot in her hip. The killer WAS in this room. You find a letter saying "nice job fella, the locks are now stuck". Oh no.
you know what? One by one. You get more information from suspects once you investigate them. You question Chezco Antoine.

Ask the suspects questions.
He was 34 and lived on 8 Lupton street.
He is fast, calm and he had short vision, therefore needing glasses. He was a great friend and a good uncle. His brother's name is Silas.
Anything else?

You were a good section.
A bit later.
Albert's job was being a surgeon.
Pretty much no one was at odds with him, he was a pretty nice guy. We shall investigate to find people with motives.
