Finally, I talks. I've taken a liking to subbed. Ever since I reached episode 229 of One Piece on the site I mentions a long time ago. The reason is the site just stopped there and I decided to watch on Hulu. Anyone know a good subbed site for One Piece that doesn't lag and isn't fan-subbed. Also has the openings/endings..... I'm also watching SAO subbed on Hulu...

I usually go dubbed, unless it's bad or it's not available. Then it's subs.
Started watching Fairy Tail recently after having heard about it for a while. Got to say it is really great, art style is very similar to One Piece, which is fantastic.
Also keeping up to date with Attack on Titan, even though it's not my usual taste it is absolutely great - reminds me of Gantz a little in the sense that everyone ing dies and you should not get attached to a single character cause they will probably end up dead at some point
Attack on Titan seems like Evangelion if anything for all I can tell.
Hmmm, I actually came here to try to find something like Gantz.... what is this Attack on Titan you speak of?
And anything else you guys could recommend based on my top-shelf faves:
Gantz (as mentioned)
Berserk
Evangelion
Samurai-X (Trust/Betrayal OVA's)
H.O.T.D
Elfen Lied
Witchblade
Ergo Proxy
Hellsing (NOT "Ultimate")
Azumanga Daioh
Strike Witches
Sekirei
Sora no Otoshimono / Heaven's Lost Property
FLCL
GoDannar
Gurren Lagann
Ichigo Mashimaro (same reason I like the little ponies = I have no idea)
Any suggestions? I mostly watch dub, but have no problem with sub as long as the Japanese voices aren't too whiny and annoying.

Jormungand/Psycho Pass. Not directly related but somewhat relevant.
Also dubs suck compared to subs
Both sound interesting, thanks!
I find that sometimes the Japanese voices just do not suit the type of series, Western-themed for example. Tried watching One Piece in Japanese.... NOPE.
Been watching "Is This a Zombie?" I love it, adding it to my favorites list. I recommend it. Very funny, makes me laugh XD I was also displeased about how quickly Sword Art Online (Talking about the actual MMO inside the anime) ended to far behind. I think they should have atleast made a happy ending there or kept on going without switching the mmo. Or atleast made another anime series with a different name but ofcourse the continuation of what happened in SAO. It was just bad.....Its about SAO, Not Alfland (Or whatever it is.)
Sora no Otoshimono is probably one of the funniest animes I have ever seen.
If you're looking for something like that, Haruhi Suzumiya is obviously an extremely popular choice. Hilarious, riveting, and awesome for anyone. Dub quality: excellent --- Sub quality: Excellent
Elfen Lied is a seinen and a compelling tale. It's a true classic.
I'd suggest Clannad (imho the best anime ever) for the plot/characters or maybe Hellsing, as both EL and Hellsing are very gory XD Clannad Dub: excellent --- Clannad Sub: excellent Hellsing Dub: crappy --- Hellsing Sub: excellent
Highschool of the Dead is good.
I'd suggest Sword Art Online. It's commonly accepted as a shounen but it is actually seinen, a serious anime with deep characters. However, you'll find comedy, action, romance and all that good stuff in this highly-rated 2012 anime. My second favorite anime. Dub: fair --- Sub: excellent
Gurren Lagann, clever show. Haruhi Suzumiya, the two shows are very similar.
I hope I helped somehow
What the heck are you talking about?! The Hellsing dub is wonderful! Crispin Freeman is like, the ultimate voice of Alucard!
Also, saying that SAO is a seinen is an embarrassment to Seinen in general. Fate/Zero is a seinen, SAO is a wannabe serious Shounen.

If you see me on this site, it's probably because I'm not particularly interested in it. Or I may be slightly intoxicated, though probably you won't see me here.
Guys...Think of a random male (For obvious reasons, not sexist.) anime character, and try to make them speak like Morgan Freeman in your head. Like.... idk....Black Star with M.F.'s voice...? ...Now all I need is my final Witch post...then I turn into a death pick......

I know Sword Art Online sucks to many which is why I said it was my second favorite, not the second best.
Clannad is one of the best in my opinion, though.
It's better to be me thinking Clannad is the best than to be one of the millions that think Naruto, Bleach, Soul Eater, One Piece, DBZ, etc are the best >_>
Come back once you've watched more than eight shows.

Yes, yes you did. I have to watch SAO now that enough people have recommended it.
Clannad? Ehhhhhhh dramas like that I don't know... I know it's amongst the top-rated of all time (or at least "Clannad - After Story" is) but I think that style is not for me. Unless anything on my list was vaguely similar.
Haruhi series/movie were awesome, but what the goddamned hell was up with the "Endless Eight" episodes.... wanted to shoot myself after the second one of those. Just seemed like lazy writing/animating and could have been compressed into 2 ep's instead of 8. Has there been any more of this series since The Disappearance of Haruhi Suzumiya?
What the heck are you talking about?! The Hellsing dub is wonderful! Crispin Freeman is like, the ultimate voice of Alucard!
Yes, yes it was. Then Hellsing Ultimate came along and almost made me stop watching anime entirely. It really is THAT bad. Curse the guy who recommended it to me, ser'sly.

Clannad aint your style but you love Suzumiya Haruhi?
Hmm.
The sad part is the animation and voices are completely unique for every episode; the same amount of work went into it as if it were eight unique episodes. I watched them all anyway.
Even "Groundhog Day" didn't take 200 minutes (I know this wasn't the first movie / tv show to use the concept). This was a complete waste of a season. But yeah, again, was there any more Haruhi after the movie came out? I noticed there was some chibi thing based on a doujin, don't know what happened with that though.
Edit: Page-topped twice now, I swear I didn't come here just to hijack your thread!

Ahahaha.

Is it anything like Princess Resurrection? That is amongst my second-tier favourites, re-watchable but not quite top-shelf.

Hello
Ok yeah, dA is like that. But pageviews don't equal income anyhow, so those guys don't get anything from it but "internet points".
Hmm? Are you saying that Clannad is like Haruhi? The brochure mentioned nothing of this!
