To make this post useful, here's an observation:
I think the writers are trying to turn Spike into a member of the mane 6 (or 7, in this case). At first, it seemed like he was just Twilight's pet, but when she got Owloysius he became the odd one out. But in Dragon Quest he got his own pet, Peewee. Add to that the fact that there have been a few Spike-centric episodes, and it seems like he has all the qualifications for being a mane character--he's even a pony.
The only problem is, now mane-on-mane shipping is canon (or, at least, implied canon).
Either way, He was abandoned by his parents for money (for unspeakable things on this topic), as was I, and we both went to live with our grandparents. so STFU and GTFO you tolerance-less brony D:<
"tolerance" does not mean he has to like it. He was just pointing out that it had been done many, many times before and wasn't that original, even if you did base it on yourself.

Also, I hope this episode goes deeper than, "Fluttershy discovers that she's a badass, again". I mean, I like fluttershy and all, but her badassery has already been firmly established in several other episodes.

Normally, I square his muzzle just a bit in Photoshop. It still makes him look like a colt, but I can do a 3/4 view of him too. I hate the Pony Creator cutie mark uploader, so I usually add that in Photoshop as well. His is a lightbulb with a thin lightning bolt behind it. I haven't worked too much on a backstory, but he's a quiet unicorn. He lives in Ponyville in a secluded house, to work on his projects. (He's an inventor) Also, he wears glasses occasionally, but doesn't really need them, which is a reference to the Tenth Doctor.
Foxfire:
Foxfire is Gigawatt's girlfriend. I haven't really developed her much, (Just came up with the concept the other day) but she's a warm, bubbly pony, and she's also an architect. Her cutie mark is a T-square, a ruler, and a protractor, and I forgot to give her freckles, but she has freckles like AJ.

Interesting. I recently thought it would be cool to have a bloodline of Wonderbolts whose last name is Fire (members include Crossfire, Wildfire, Hailfire, Ceasefire, Hellfire, Bonfire, Balefire and, of course, Spitfire). There's also a bloodline of Canterlot Guards called the Stone family (Touchstone, Flagstone, Keystone, Capstone, Cornerstone, Grindstone, Guidestone, Headstone, Limestone, etc, etc).
Also, one of my characters is a female blue pegasus architect with freckles who is friends with a unicorn inventor, too! Technically, Blythe's special talent is design in general (her mark is a blueprint), she's the one with glasses, and Lucentio's talent is light magic (mark is an orb of light with a five-pointed starburst) and inventing isn't really his main deal. Also, they both live in Tenebrum, so they don't conflict with your Ponyvillian setup here.

3. My Little Warzone: Betrayal, it's the fiction I've put the most effort in so far, and it's actually turning out very well compared to RONM.
When It's About Time aired, I was hanging out with a friend who is only a bit of a brony. I saw the episode up on YouTube in 1080p and started watching while he did something else. When Future Twi popped in, I showed him, and we decided we should watch the episode in 1080p on my big-screen. Thank you YouTube Xbox app.
Anyways, I'll probably avoid this thread until I can see the new episode. My internet sucks too much to livestream, so I'll wait till a 1080p version comes up on YouTube.
I hate it when your dad sends you a digital camera for your trip to D.C., which is fine, but when you look at the cable box clock in your room and you see you've missed 20 minutes of the show already, you get pretty angry.

I wish I would make my thoughts longer, but I find myself unable to. Anyways, onto the episode. I counted 3 Derpy sightings! (If you include one of Fluttershy's animals wearing a Derpy mask as a sighting ) Not only that but Roid Rage made me lol every time I saw him. The lesson was a good one, and when Fluttershy heard "Fluttershy, Fluttershy, Fluttershy can hardly fly" at the ending and said "NO!" and flying extremely fast made me say "Go Fluttershy!" Also when she kept flying in circles at the ending made me laugh. all in all I give it a 9.5/10

First of all, FLUTTERTREE And I love all the Derpy that was in the Epi :3 I was thinking this would make a great quest for EO (Equestria Online) if they ever get finish I'm in love with the GIANT muscle pony, YEAH >:D, He was probably a ref to something, Maybe Yaplap? Glad there was another episode with twilight in it :3 Other than that, even though I've thought this about all the other Episodes, I think this one was the best MLP hasn't broken my love record yet that's 22 in a row and counting >:3 Edit: Also, I see the Fallout Ref now too, LOVE IT!
It's okay, I'm gonna have to either miss an episode, or miss/post-pone a Vacation to New York D:

Fluttertree was amazing. Many Derpy sightings, that's good. Lots of new background character names. New albino roid rage pony (relative of Vinyl's?). Lots of good things. Very good episode, I give it a 8.5/10 (needs a song).
Also, at one point a purple pegasus was lifting weights with her wings, and I could've sworn that she had six legs. It freaked me out to see her doing something with two limbs, while two other limbs were retracted on her stomach. Which makes me think that somebody should make a hexapod pony OC.

Twilight's pouty face when the tornado broke up that first time was THE MOST ADORABLE THING EVER.
I agree. I'm going to guess that these will be the new background pony craze (but then again, I thought the same thing about Junebug)
Also, Spitfire getting more lines was cool. And I had told one of my friends recently that she was captain of the Wonderbolts, but I don't know if that was true canon before now. Now I am validated!
