I agree that the redemption thing is a little silly. But it does fit with the theme of the show, with the friendship and acceptance and all of that. Though, I think there should be a few villains that are villains for the sake of being a villain. It wouldn't make them any less of a character, and by their antagonistic nature they can always return to present more problems. Granted they're not utterly and completely smashed.
That is Gilda. Also known as the one who made Fluttershy cry. She's the only griffon in the show, so it shouldn't be difficult to forget her.
Oh. I feel dumb. I know who Gilda is, just didn't recognizer her (covered in snow?).
Does anyone think Gilda will come back ever? I kinda doubt it, but that could be an interesting episode.
My shelf of nerdiness is my whole bookcase. Here's a crappy iPhone pic:
From top to bottom, left to right:
Top shelf: Harry Potter 3D Glasses from the HP8 midnight premiere, the prerelease display case for Halo Reach that Gamestop put on display (My parents preordered reach for me one birthday, and they wanted me to have something to unwrap, so they talked a GameStop worker into giving me one), A Megabloks Halo Grunt Minifigure, two Lego Figures from blind bags, a Lego TARDIS I designed myself, a cardboard MLP crown some people brought me from Comicon for housesitting for them while they were at Comicon, a Noble 6 action figure with a Mongoose, and a Lego Republic Star Destroyer
Middle Shelf: Stuffed Chewbacca, my 3DS, a stuffed tiger wearing my high school's logo, a stuffed elephant with the ISMK (International Society of MIssionary Kids, because my parents were missionaries to Africa) logo on its shirt, a Dewott figure from McDonalds, my Bible, a VHS copy of The Phantom Menace stored in the original jacket for A New Hope (So disappointing when I tried watching it.) Blind Bag Twilight and Pinkie, McDonalds AJ with the hook/knob thing cut off, my PC and Xbox Games, my Spider-Man comics, my GameInformer collection, and my various comic book anthologies,
Bottom Shelf: Lego Technic Iron Man set, a large number of the Drizzt Do'Urden books, and a large number of Star Wars novels.
Not on Bookcase: Lego-shaped pencil sharpener, nearly depleted roll of purple Duct Tape, this Doctor Who poster

Quit showing me up.
To be fair, though, I also have a few posters spread across my room; one for Pink Floyd's The Wall, one for Fullmetal Alchemist, one for LoZ OoT, and with one for Bioshock Infinite on its way in March.
There are books on the shelves below my nerdiness shrine, but this was my brothers' room beforehand so it's full of liberal brainwashing garbage. Seriously, though, he has Mein Kampf, Das Kapital, the Qur'an, Atlas Shrugged, The Origin of Species, etc, etc. It's confusing. My books, almost completely scifi, are in a box labeled "SOY CHIPS" behind my recliner. I now refer to the books I read as soy chips.
Also, I wish I knew where my (other) brother's old Star Wars figurines were. I might have to add some to my shelf, even though I never was all that enthralled by Star Wars.
... I realize now that I don't have any electroswing stuff in my room. I should get a Caravan Palace poster or some such.
Edit: I have an idea. Since my Twilight is so damn small when compared to my Tardis, and since the Tardis has a stickered-on interior, I should find a way to place Twilight in there and photograph it in such a way that it looks like she's further in there than she is and that my Tardis is actually smaller on the outside.

Looks like you have me beat in posters. I only have this Dalek one and this Halo 3 one. I also have some crime scene tape I need to do something cool with, and if I can get to an office supply store, I'm gonna buy a big roll of blue paper and turn my door into the TARDIS.

My closet room has a couple WeLoveFine pony posters on the wall, and another that was a gift for donating to a MLP sponsored charity. Otherwise, not much pony that's actually displayed. At some point I'll hopefully be getting printed copies of Fallout Equestria which I shall display on my shelf.
Otherwise, it's all alongside several days worth of music on CDs, clothes, computer games, and Stephen King and Tolkien.
Plus one Kukiri and a atlas from the 50's and a globe from the 70's/80's.
Edit: Also, it looks like Fighting is Magic won't be making it to the main stage at EVO this year. Unless it can get $9,000 (Must . . . not . . . make . . . terrible reference) in four days. Ah well, at least it will still be in the indie game area. They weren't going to be one of the main 8 games anyways. If they won, the second place game was going to be on stage, and FiM was going to have an exhibition tournament on the main stage as well.
I'm gonna stop you there. I do what I can to treat people with mutual trust and respect, but I can't help but feel that my view of you dropped sharply at that remark.
I understand that there are people who don't like something for whatever reason, but usually it's best to keep it to yourself, especially when it's unnecessary to bring up to begin with as well as being a subject of controversy.
All I have to say is this....
If you dont like my statement. then dont bother talking to me
Welp. I listened to "Raise This Barn" again, and I now love it. My first issue with it, and one that still irks me to an extent, is that the lyrics are a bit dumb. But I realized... really, I'mone totalk (though Caravan Palace can't be blamed too much because they're French; and, their one French song is actually rather poetic when translated).
It's now on my playlist, and I've listened to it many times today. But I have a problem with counting down from four instead of counting down, and then breaking into "Coming Home" by Peter Schilling.
If you dont like my statement. Then dont bother talking to me
Then take your own freaking advice and go if you don't like to be around people with opinions other than your own. We're fine with you disagreeing with us so long as you don't be a condescending jerk about it.

I'm really hoping they put a giraffe in FiM. They're the cutest.
Would you mind explaining what you don't like about the lyrics? Or do you simply think that singing about raising a barn is a dumb subject. Also, I really am liking you leaving every post with an image. I wish I could do that. Also, I showed my friend (who isn't a brony) and my cousin the pony with milkshake (in this case it was Ditzy Doo) and the first thing my friend asks is "Why is she sucking on her milkshakes?"
I don't want to seem like I'm just typing for the sake of typing, and I'd leave with a picture, but I have no real drawings as of now, so I'll just say goodbye.
Also, I really am liking you leaving every post with an image.
DeviantArt is one of the few interesting sites I can access on my laptop at school, so I spend all day browsing it and then bookmark interesting pony pics (I fave some of them, but only the really good ones). That's why there's always an imagedump once I get back, to empty the pileup from the whole boring day.
I admit that Cadence wanting to form babby is one of those popular headcanons that I'm rather a fan of. It seems pretty in-character for her.

I will only be a jark to those people especially bronies who are jerks to me.
Anyways, Ever notice how Cadence and the Crystal Empire are really closely tied to England? Her wedding was the royal wedding and now
her country hosts some Olympics.
Where does Sombra fit in?
I think Canterlot is England. The Royal Wedding technically happened there, the accents are all English, the guards don't blink, and "Canterlot" as in "Camelot." The Crystal Empire is far more Greek with its culture and style.
Although, since the Games originated in Greece, I don't know why the plot of the episode involves getting the people to put them back in the Crystal Empire this year. Ah well.
Unrelated, but future-episode synopsis spoiler:
Does anyone else get the feeling that Magical Mystery Cure might be the episode in which the CMC finally get their marks? Note that there hasn't been one cutie-mark-related episode so far that didn't involve them in some way.

They're just really trite, I suppose. The wording is funny and the connection between phrases is disjointed all because they needed a rhyme.
