Amnesia was probably the scariest game I've ever played, but I still think it needs a bit more fear. I haven't finished it yet though so maybe it'll get scarier.
Haha, I remember watching the Grudge with my older cousins while I was around 7. When you watch something that scary at that age, well... let's just say it kept me awake at night for about a year xD. I know, I'm probably just an easily scared child
i never watched it but chucky the killer doll just gave me the creeps so bad when i was small just seeing trailers of it gave me nightmares for a while
Amnesia and the other Penumbra games. Hands down the scariest games because you don't have a gun with limitless ammo to protect you, only your wits which quickly abandon you once the darkness starts to close in.
For game, I'd have to go with the Scary Maze game with the Exorcist girl in the end. I remember shrieking upon her showing up in the end.
For the movie, I'd have to go with The Pit and the Pendulum. I can't think of anything else scarier along with the corpses and freaky music in the background... (And no, I haven't watched The Exorcist or any other scary movie.)
I seem to be immune to fearing games or movies. My friend once showed us a trailer for "Sinister" or something like that. My other friend was, literally, on the floor screaming. I sat there thinking "that was scary?"
I have no game that haunt me as I don't play scary stuff, but from a single video I've watched I can say The House II. The movie was... Amityvalle or something like that.

Eternal Darkness is one of the few games that left me feeling unnerved. Partly the setting and places the characters had to go, and partly other events going on in my life at the time. Hazy memory.
I don't play a lot of scary games.
Movie: :/ I dunno :3
I have a Spoon. Your argument is invalid.
Movie: Quarantine

Are you thinking of The Amityville Horror?

Can't recall any frightening films.
