I have a varied list of genres I listen to. My preferred ones are rock (any subgenre but no heavy metal, not really tolerant of people screaming into my ears), and house.
I hate hearing dubstep, heavily autotuned pop (Black Eyed Peas is one group especially guilty of this ****, they call it music?) and "ghetto" rap (swears, makes a sexist/racist/crude statement every second line, raps with "ghetto" dialect that makes them sound like douchebags, all that stupid crap about it). I'm fine with a few rappers though, just not those "gangsta" ones like Wiz Khalifa, 50 Cent, Jay-Z, etc.
I listen to all kinds of music, with the only real exceptions being genres I haven't heard of. I always approach music with a "I want to like this" attitude, so there really isn't any music I "hate". However, I have a slight bias towards metal and avant-garde/experimental music.
I'm an old soul, I listen to music from the 70's and 60's, not the crap they put out these days...blasted hooligans and they're inability to realist today is Thursday! not Friday..hey you! Get off my lawn!!!
Okay, first of all, i like anything except screamo, hiphop and rap.
secondly, wrong forum even though i seriously dislike the media, music, and film forum, because it is 100% useless.
That is not to say that every genre has as much good music as the others.
As far as what I hate, that'd have to be those songs that are pretty much fugly white noise with unidentifiable and primarily meaningless lyrics. Yes, I'm talking about metal.
As far as what I like, instrumental music/soundtracks, and really anything that actually has melody (and if it has lyrics they damn well better be audible and enunciated).

I don't know if I have any real preferances. I used to dislike rap, but recently I got into , so there's that. Every genre I think I may dislike, I still find there are some songs from said genre I really like.
I enjoy dubstep, but not as much as house or breakbeat music. The thing that's turning me further away from dubstep than I would be is the kids at school blasting skrillex through the dr.dre beats 24/7, as well as yelling **** like" bldddddddddddd drop da bass booooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo!" I can't stand that, not to be a hipster or anything, these are just my opinions.
My favorite house sub genres would have to be Progressive, tech, minimal and deep.
What's the kind of music that you completely hate?
My least favorite genre is rap, I almost go into rage mode whenever I hear rap.
I cannot stand techno and dubstep.

Since they play basically all genres on the radio, you hate basically all music.

Also, Skrillex doesn't make dubstep.

I beg to differ.
