The alicorns... Celestia and Luna. They are semi-divine. A few of us (well, mostly me) refer to them as the Cosmic Alicorns, since they control the sun and moon.
Limits of their powers? Not sure it's ever clearly defined. But given their semi-divine status, they must be pretty strong.
The term "alicorn" is also applied to any winged unicorn (as are "pegacorn" and a few others), which are the result of a pegasus and unicorn mating. These are nowhere near as powerful as the Princesses, however, since they are of mortal blood.

I would read it but I don't read any fan fics unless they're crossovers (Narrow minded I know but more chance of me liking it plus I don't run into many bad ones since I don't read them much)

More canon alicorns? None that I know of, and it's a bit of a taboo within the fandom to make an alicorn OC. So, of course, I did this without knowing what a problem it was. However, the Season 2 episode "Baby Cakes" established that mixed genetics is canon, so it's not as big a deal now.
The only proper alicorn (don't capitalize, you don't capitalize "unicorn" and stuff either) OCs I can think of are my own, Silverlance, and MrBossMan's Aurora Spark.
(I've seen quite a few on DeviantArt but these are rarely properly-designed characters but rather just made by people who want an overpowered OC.)

Before you ask: OC stands for "Original Character", and refers to any fan-made character that isn't actually from the show. Just throwing that out there now because it's a thing a lot of the new people ask about.

That one seems like it's pretty easy to pull off. If I were a non-brony and liked Doctor Who, I would probably just see it and laugh at the clever pun. It probably wouldn't really register to me that it was a shirt from a "girl's show," but rather a parody of a "girl's show."

Aw man, I remember seeing a video where they discuss the fifth wall but I can't find it.

But yes, there is such a thing as a fifth wall. Imagine your watching a TV and you see a character breaking the fourth wall, well they're basically breaking the screen of your TV. But, if they break the fifth wall, they're breaking the wall behind you, showing you and the TV to other outside passerbys. So It's like breaking the fourthwall twice, except it's like they're breaking your fourth wall. It's all very scientific and mathematical and has to do with a lot of theoretical equations and processes.

So it's only about time until she breaks all the walls in the dimension.

When the synopsis first was released I thought Iron Will would be a tough pegasus pony. When the synopsis was extended, the word self help guru made me think of some sort of hippie. But then the clip came out and boom! Minotaur.

Also, I am sure many of you have noticed all of the brokenness in the OP from the forum update. Yeah, I plan on fixing that upon starting the new thread when this one is soon locked.

There has never been a flat Fluttershy episode. Even Merriwether Williams couldn't make a bad Fluttershy episode. That's my prediction, anyways.
