Well what the title says, what genre of music do you like, the poll has no subgenres to keep it from growing to much.
EDIT: Forgot hip-hop :/

I love Metal and Electronic music. Odd to see both of these interests together, though I like both pretty equally. Electronic when I feel calm or relaxed, metal when I feel like venting. Also, where's jazz? I like jazz and some forms of Hip Hop.
I like a really broad range of music (Classical, Classic Rock, Alternative Rock, Industrial Rock, Metal, Symphonic Metal, Black Metal, Death Metal, Hip Hop, Rap, Funk, Techno, Drum and Bass, Dance, Pop, Folk, Jazz, Blues, etc...) but the music I like most is the music that transcends genres. I love complex music and the more complex it is the harder it is to label.
For example: Thievery Corporation mixes elements of dub, acid jazz, reggae, Indian classical, Middle Eastern, and Brazilian (such as bossa nova) with a lounge aesthetic.
OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO Kata isn't gonna be happy to see another music thread :laugh.gif:
also my favorite genre at the moment is dubstep!
I'm not too ecstatic either.
Pop (Mainstream music)
I like how you put mainstream music in parentheses after Pop. Peter Bjorn and John, a not so well know group, is a great band, but they produce Pop music. I sense a strong bias towards Pop music.
All different kinds of music, from black metal, to dream pop, to hip-hop, to IDM, to world music... I could keep on going, but the music I listen to most is experimental/avant-garde. I agree completely with Breadlord's post.
