Well im a beginner 3d artist, and i would love some helpful replys from fellow modelers on what i could improve.
Note that im really new to texturing, so the textures on these wont be very good...
Solaris 3 [30 minute freestyle]
I was going for a low poly design here, so as you can see its is roughly 1100 faces, which is excatly what i was aiming for.
(for games)
Gun turret [20 minute freestyle]
Another low poly attempt, also low enough to be game ready
Mecha
Was my first fully rigged model
Tank
Was going for detail and just generally screwing around with designs.
(its a railgun btw)
shrogg what program are you using to do these in, CInema 4d? 3DS? Blender?. Work a bit on lighting and FX in the final renders, your modeling is good though :smile.gif:
Rollback Post to RevisionRollBack
The name's Hyp, and I am trying to become a better artist!.
One word; MAYA
And yes, Atm i cant really be bothered that much with lighting/rendering as at this stage it is unnecessary.
To speak the truth, I am actually taking a year long course in Animation and modeling next year (not too sure if i should go for the animation part, but i guess it will help with my CV?)

The tank looks quite good.
