I personally have no favorite, I prefer video game OST's. I'm not a person for traditional music. However, I do recall listening to George Winston when I was little, trying to get to sleep.

Video Game Soundtracks are composed by musicians so the name of the composers count too.

Same here; I've recently developed a taste for the psychedelic genre (not trying to promote shrooms or anything).
According to the Youtube comments, Pink Floyd is better listened to when on drugs... though I don't know how much better something that is essentially perfect can be when listened to under the influence.
If there is only one artists I could listen to it'd be Prince. But Pink Floyd is a very, very close second. I think the scope of the different type and styles of music Prince has done over the years makes his discography very varied. Where as much as I like Pink Floyd, they had a very distinct style, and rarely deviated from it, at least in large leaps.

Bettie Mae Page "Queen of Pinups" April 22, 1923 - Dec. 11, 2008
“We’re all going to die, all of us, what a circus! That alone should make us love each other but it doesn’t. We are terrorized and flattened by trivialities, we are eaten up by nothing. ” -- Charles Bukowski
The Beatles, "Weird Al" Yankovic, the first three albums of Steam Powered Giraffe not including the joke live one, and some of the later works of Paul McCartney.
The guy who plays "late in the evening" or "me and Julio down by the school yard".
Paul Simon
Right now I've got three favorite artists.. a holy trinity if you will
Thee Oh Sees, a group headed by the mighty John Dwyer (the principle songwriter.) He really utilizes the whole "great artists steal" idea. And he utilizes it very tastefully. These guys have so many different sounds and records, I've fallen in love with them a million times over. Just greasy slacker garage rock.
Lightning Bolt. Drum bass duo. If one band could be defined by the name of their group, it would be Lighting Bolt. They hit you HARD. They are on top of things live. Brian Gibson and Brian Chippendale. Gibson is a lightning fast bass player with amazing riffs and melodic tricks, and Chippendale is an ABSOLUTE animal at drums. He's the least technical player in the world but it's so primal and he's extremely talented. He wears a mask and sings (chants?) during most songs. They're the kind of band to play on the floor with everyone surrounding them, it's crazy energy. One of Bowie's favorite bands actually. I'm actually friends with the drummer! He lives in Providence and just the other week I went to his place for a show (his solo stuff,) he's a super nice guy and a great artist.
Death Grips. The records they've put out since 2011 have been unbelievably consistent. Super shallow listening. In the sense that.. if you listen to them and dig in for a deeper meaning, you won't find it. Take this music for face value. They have no musical influence, all of the material comes from their hearts (aw.) It's really trendy to not care about anything in music, and a lot of bands like to project that attitude. They usually fail. Death Grips don't fail. They actually don't care about you or anything. And I love it.
And hey! Coincidentally, all these bands are (kind of) connected! Brian C and John D lived in Providence and grew up on the noise/experiment scene there. I actually asked Brian a couple months ago about John and he said "he texted me today!" And then Zach Hill from DG (the greatest drummer ever.. basically) toured with Lightning Bolt in the early 00s with his band Hella, a math rock band.
People don't give enough credit to some music scenes these days, a lot of really really fantastic bands are getting overlooked because of the sole fact they came out in the past five years. Ridiculous.
Who is your favorite Music Artist? My favorite artist are The Rolling Stones (Bands count too :3).
EDIT: Oops! I just realized that I posted this on the wrong sub-forum! Can somebody move it please? Thanks!

Figured it was time for a change.

I know. I just listen to OSTs in general. Though I must say Stewart Copeland did nicely with the Spyro series.
Figured it was time for a change.
I love them, too!
OT: Electric Light Orchestra, Rolling Stones, Beatles, Supertramp, Elton John, and Queen are my Top 6.

And of course, Koji Kondo

"Weird Al" Yankovic
Apologetix
Runners Up:
Queen
ELO
Styx
Boston
Supertramp

3. REO Speedwagon
4. Boston
5. Europe

A few other artists I like include Oingo Boingo, Soul Asylum, and a handful of 80s artists.

My favorite band would probably iron madian, nirvana or weezer (nastolgia).
I think this speaks for me.
