Hello all I'm in a weird situation right now. My laptop is getting old, and can't handle games at a stable FPS. I want to get a desktop computer, but I also want to keep the memory that I have in my current laptop. So I want to move all of the memory I have in this hard drive to the computer that I will be getting. I have tried looking for ways on Google, but I can't find any good ways.
I want to take my memory (about 85gb worth of memory), and put it in a cloud storage for free. So, I can go on the cloud storage from the new computer, download the memory, and move it to the new hard drive. I may sound stupid right now, but I'm fairly certain that this is possible. I want to do this without having to spend any money other than the money for the new computer.
Any solutions/help will be greatly appreciated.
Thank you.
Sorry about the double thread post....computer lagged on me
Im sorry, I dont think any place would give you 85gb of cloud storage for free. you could use a external hard drive or only move the needed files then re download any games.
A quick Googling of cloud storage shown me https://www.surdoc.com/ which gives 100 GB free. I didn't actually try to sign up so dunno if there are any caveats, but worth a look.
For that matter, I have a 45 TB file server I could give you space on via FTP, but surdoc would be better as I assume their upstream speeds are significantly better than mine (25 Mbps).
