Ezvid is a screen recorder that you guys may have heard of.
Don't know what it is? Watch this scam video from the company:
However, I have tried it in making videos and it has a SERIOUS amount of problems. And I have a bunch of evidence to support my case.
Main Problems of Ezvid:
1. It is super laggy. I have a computer that doesn't get much lag in Minecraft, but when you watch it after recording it with ezvid, the frame rate is super low and glitchy. Even when you record other types of stuff that NEVER get lag (for example, bejeweled or just the internet), you still have problems.
2. The sound is really bad. Ezvid says if you don't want music in your video, you should choose "Silent Machine". I have tried this, but still, when you watch it, you get some static noise.
3. You can't adjust Fraps/Frame rate or bit rate. That's why it lags so much.
4. You can't record in full screen Minecraft.
I haven't even said all the problems, there are way more stuff that makes ezvid a loser. Ezvid is just an ad company that gets money out of showing their videos on Youtube. Plus, the videos from Ezvid are not even made from their recording software, but something better, otherwise they would have the recording icon on the bottom left-corner on the screen.
Laggy videos made using Ezvid which support my case:
Just watch those videos above in the spoiler and see how laggy Ezvid is.
Also, another thing. There are NO popular Youtubers who use Ezvid. If you don't believe me, just reply to this thread and give me a video that was made using ezvid that has more than 100,000 views. There are famous Youtubers who use Playclaw, Fraps, or DxTory, but none use Ezvid.
I bet that ezvid just gets money from people making videos using it. They're just making money from it. Only immature 8 year-olds actually think that Ezvid is good.
Terrible Sound and Music
Like I have said before, when you choose "Silent Machine" for music for recording (which is the only way to record without music playing), you get static noise.
To support my case:
I don't mind if you guys disagree, just reply to this and give me a video without lag using Ezvid and tell me how to adjust the Frame rate and bit rate.
So just don't use Ezvid, if you are thinking about downloading it after watching the scam videos from the company.
Just get fraps lol or at least something that doesn't put an ad on your screen lol

I'm going to start a new season to my old Hardcore Survival Island series on youtube since my friend and I recently got back to playing Minecraft a bit. If you want to join us and we can depend on you to be able to join us in the server I set up at the right times then feel free to message me.

Fraps costs money. You can only make really short videos with the free version. I'm too cheap to buy it. Also, I've heard that Fraps does have a little lag, but of course not nearly as much as ezvid.

With any recording program you will get a drop in fps and depending on how powerful your computer is you may start losing frames but all I've got is an HP laptop and with optifine I can 60 fps while recording (30 is fine as that's what YouTube uploads at anyway) most free recording programs that I've tried have some sort of ad in the video or don't get very good quality. Try getting the free trial of bandicam idk if it restricts u or not tho

Fraps will only "lag" if your computer is not powerful enough to record at decent quality. If it's good enough to record, you shouldn't have any problems using it on your computer given that you've adjusted the recording settings correctly.

Nobody's perfect, so neither is Hannah Montana Linux, but it's pretty great.

They all suck. They just suck differently. Sort of like prostitutes.

Just get Bandicam free! It does record for 10 minutes like Ezvid but it gives you higher frame rate and records at fullscreen!
I know but it doesnt bother me that much when I record.
It's still distracting for viewers watching your videos. It's like if you wanted to watch a movie and then you see there's a watermark throughout the whole movie. It's not pleasing to look at.

Whatever. I'm just saying. Other than the watermark, Bandicam is probably the only way to record the longest and fullscreen for free. And doesnt have ads on the video like Ezvid.

If my videos are that bad if I record with Bandicam then is hypercam good?
EDIT: Just tested Hypercam. It is good and doesnt give me lag or a watermark. It's good for people who want to record minecraft for free!
EDIT: Even with the compressors hypercam has, my voice doesnt line up with the video. I havent tried the Intel one but i think it'll be the same.
EDIT: I fixed the out of sync issue! But it doesnt record minecraft sound but i think its because i use a headset.

In my experience, Fraps gives me terrible performance. I have an i7 3770K, a gtx 780, an 840 EVO that I load my games off of, and I record to a 2 TB Seagate Barracuda HDD, and yet I still get 50 fps max. However, with a program called Action! I easily get 200+ fps when recording Minecraft and little framerate loss in other games with perfect quality video at 60 fps.

Maybe Fraps doesnt support that processor or graphics card that well. Idk.

I haven't tried action! Mirillis, but they say it's good too.
You pay for them, you aren't going to get anything better for free.
Diggin' Minecraft Style
Even if it doesn't, Fraps is still far superior.
could you email me the video?
No, because he never posted it. But I was there when he was recording it.

The Bandicam watermark IS an ad.
