Right, so I have a gaming channel at the moment (DemmyPlays) and I want to record with other people. The only problem is I need to know how to record the sound on my computer AND the sound of my voice all at once (Obviously, I'm recording the screen as well). I tried using Soundflower but I'm getting confused on how to use it properly. The only way I was able to record playing a game with another person was for them to send over their audio file, but then I had echo coming from my side of audio.
Just to note, I am using a headphone where there is a microphone built into it. In short terms, I need something that can record my voice, the sound on my computer, and the screen all at once while using an iMac. I don't have any money to spend, so I can't do much there...If you help me, thank you!
Beware for a buttload of responses saying that you should ditch your iMac because they are made for gaming. While that is true, FPS is fine if you have render distance on Normal and graphics on Fast.
I don't know how to help you here, but you could try turning your volume up, and before you start your Quicktime recording (if you're using that), set it on Internal Microphone. The mic will then pick up the sounds coming from the computer, and your voice, thus getting both.
