So, I'm not really sure what to do anymore because this problem just seemed to come out of nowhere. Basically what happens right now is when I start Windows normally it will start and then after maybe 5-10 seconds I see that everyone on the screen freezes and then the screen goes black and after another couple seconds says "no signal input; check video cable". After this all I can do is restart the computer or shut it down. I was messing with some settings in the BIOS before all of this started to happen a few days ago, but I was actually removing my previous overclock so my computer would run cooler. Right now I have everything in the BIOS set to default and I unchecked everything from Windows startup. Even with those settings, it still freezes up after Windows starts. I'm not sure what the problem is and so I'm hoping someone here can help me.

They all suck. They just suck differently. Sort of like prostitutes.
you may have set the bios to use the on board graphics instead of the dedicated PCI-E card. try moving your cables from your card to motherboard.

It runs perfectly fine in Safe Mode, which is what I'm using right now. I have an ASUS M4A88TD-V EVO/USB3 motherboard and I have the graphics mode set to GFXO which is used for PCI Express graphics cards.

If its running in safe mode i'd assume its a software issue.
Have you done a Malwarebytes and a Virus scan?

A quick scan didn't find anyting. I doubt it's some sort of malware since the shadiest sites I go on are one's for free TV episodes. If it's a software issue, I'm still confused because it will freeze up even when I have no startup items selected to run. So the only things running after startup are essentials and services.

It's sounding like a video driver error as safe mode will automatically switch to the default one that windows uses while in safe mode remove your Nvidia or AMD drivers whichever you have and try to load up in regular windows if it boots up fine try to install the latest drivers again at least that's what i'd do
Reinstalling my graphics card drivers did the trick. What would cause the drivers to just get messed up like that though? I hadn't touched my drivers for a while before I had this problem.

Is it Nvidia? they pushed an update through around the 3rd my card updates by itself might have been an auto install that got cut off by a reset or just a faulty auto install

Does its stop working if you use safe mode?

Did you install anything else recently?
Most recent was Google SketchUp and that was installed on June 28th. I didn't have any problems until July 3rd.
