Arch Linux with openbox for my laptop, and Linux mint with cinnamon on my htpc.
Just switched the htpc from Arch Linux, every other update broke my audio for some reason, and I was feeling too lazy to dig into it.
windows 7 64 bit ultimate on my main desktop
osx (forgot what version) on my laptop
Windows server 2008 R2 64-bit on my server
Debian and openSUSE in virtual machines.
Desktop Windows 8
Laptop Windows 7
Phone Android 4.2
I use Ubuntu in some situations right now I have spent the past 2 days moving and setting up computers for a Public library that are all running Ubuntu.
I would much prefer Ubuntu or some other distro was on par with Windows for my uses so I could quit paying for Windows.
OS X. I wish my school would turn to it instead of using crappy windows 7*, I have a liking for it.
Yes because most school systems arnt already on a super tight budget...............
and why? You will barely use macs in life unless you buy one to use at home. Almost every job will use windows.

heaps of workplaces and schools use macs now, the number is only growing. Atleast here in australia, the government is giving them away to schools and such. Its some new program they have going.
I don't use Macintosh or Linux or Ubuntu though. I only use XP and 8.

Windows 7 on my laptop.
Ubuntu on my other very old laptop, converted from XP.
I usually prefer RPM distros over APT distros, but don't mind using an APT distro every now and then.
This is also somewhat relevant.
Besides Win8 I've got Win2k running on a small server, as well as Mac OS 9.0.2 on a 2nd revision iMac G3.
I can't vote because I don't use Macs (nor their OSs).
Windows 7, and Linux "other."

I'm quite liking Ubuntu but sadly the school doesn't support anything other than Windows.

Also remembering that all these things are subjective
