Can someone help me find a screen recorder for minecraft? Camtasia studio makes me go down to 10 fps when recording and fraps lags me a lot. Can someone find me that won't lag my minecraft as much while I'm recording Thanks.
If it dips your FPS then your PC is probably not good enough to record.
Not true, Camtasia studio compresses the video while it records which uses up valuable resources, making it bad for gaming. OP could download the trial version of fraps and see how well that records from him.
Although you will still lag with fraps if you system is just bad to begin with, but it will be better than camtasia.

Afterburner actually doesn't work at all for me.
Just use Fraps.
if you're lagging while recording, no matter what capture system you use, either you're computer isn't powerful enough, or you're doing it wrong.
simple as that.
Not the best website in the world but it's a great screen recorder.
If that lags your computer it's probably for the best for you not to record.
