Hi, i'm building a pc, currently have an i5 2500k and a MSI z77 G45.
I'm planning to get the 7850, which is very good, but from what I can see, the 7870 is much better, dunno if it's worth the price difference, what i saw was like $50.
Thanks in advance!

I saw a $209 Asus 7870 on PCPartPicker the other day. However, I DID pick up my 7850 for $179 (was on an extreme budget, couldn't move up to the 7870) although that was in Canada.

Neckbeards! Doctor Cichocki does not approve of stupidity and neither do I, stop the spread of damned useless rules!
Personally I'm debating between the 7870 and the 7950. With the 7870 I can get a better cooler for cheaper with the MSI R7870 HAWK, but I also want to get a higher performing card. I'm probably just going to wait until I actually order before deciding, although the MSI R7870 would look a lot cooler in my case than any decent 7950 out there.
