I need a good build... I already have a i7 processer that i found new in a box at a garage sale for 30 bucks and 2 DDR3 ram 2gb... I just need the rest. I know i7 might be a bit of a overkill, but I got it for 30 bucks, so.... yeah. My budget is probably $350. Most of that, most probably, will go to a graphics card, am I right?
What model i7 is it? If it's a first gen you should honestly just sell it because there's no point in buying a bunch of outdated parts just because the processor is old.

Nobody's perfect, so neither is Hannah Montana Linux, but it's pretty great.

They all suck. They just suck differently. Sort of like prostitutes.

I dunno... I opened the box and all the pins look fine. it was a lady that sold it, she said her son _bought it but he didnt need it_ or something. And its not like she knew that it was worth more.
You're gonna need more than $350 for the rest of the computer even without the cost of Windows 7. You can't use that RAM either because it's DDR2 and you need DDR3 memory. $350 only covers the motherboard, RAM, PSU, HDD, case, and DVD drive. That still leaves the graphics card and the CPU cooler which will cost at least about $220 if you want good ones.
