We have the Asus g75v with the same GPU, i7 3610QM and 16GB RAM and it runs minecraft with out any trouble.

The Commies count their quarters and the ArtSci wish they could, the Engs have the longest pole and slam it home for good, so big, so hard, so tall, it reaches all the way to heaven, so shut your hole, we climbed the pole, we're sci 1 ing 7!!!
I might actually build a desktop, but if i do would VGA be acceptable as a primary monitor port?? I am still very unsure because i must get somthing new quick.
No, t always uses both slots, or ou can pay $60 more from Toshiba then it already is, 8GB of RAM is maybe $40, to go from 2 to 4 from them is $60, and another to go from 4 to 8
Sorry guys, I was thinking 500 dollars. Anyway, the laptop Penguin suggested was great. Try to stay away from AMD. And don't build if you don't know anything about computers.

AMD APUs are amazingly good in low budget laptops, the one i suggested would do mincraft with a 128x pack with minimal trouble

Why not? Their is a pinned guide on this forum section... I would be encouraging people to learn how to build and learn about computers so they don't go buying crappy pre-made computers from the local supermarket. And AMD make some really good graphics cards and processors. I think you are a one minded fool of a took.

Then I better leave since I'm so stupid? Yes, AMD cores are good, but intel processors are more powerful.

Ya the laptop he linked is good its a bit more then mine but he has not told us a budget and mine is cheaper and can run MC just fine.
Whats wrong with AMD?
Its not that hard to build a computer.

Like I said, I think intel processors are a bit more powerful. I don't like when someone goes and builds a computer with the advice of a forum, screws it up, and then complains to us or mommy.

Yes, you should leave because you are acting one minded and immature. Yes, intel processors are more powerful, but also more expensive. If you ask me, intel processors aren't much bang for a buck, but thats how things are these days.
But I still don't understand why one that has no/not very much knowledge on a computer should not build one? Better for them to learn now so they don't end up buying a super market computer.

I would more than happily guide the person through Skype, but we could also link them to someone that could help them. You are proving yourself to be a little bit mentally damaged.
So basically i want a low priced laptop that can run Minecraft flawlessly, but at a low price.
if you need more then 4GB of RAM< down size to 2GB then buy some cheap RAM off newegg and upgrade yourself

LOW PRICE. CAN YOU NOT READ?
How much is low for you, anyway? High settings is hard even for a 700 dollar laptop.
Max settings isn't that hard for 700$. Here's one that should do max just fine:

And this is a 17.3". If you were to cut down to 15.6", then getting a laptop like that would be very easy.

I consider $1000 for a laptop to be low.

Except when they aren't faster AMDs GPU demolishes any Intel processors GPU. AMD is faster in that price range for gaming.
