So, I'm mentally handicapped when it comes to hardware. Thus, I cannot tell if any of these computers are good for what I want. Mind you, if all of these are complete and utter crap, I'm visiting a friend early 2012 that will help me pick out parts to order online for building my computer.
What I would like is something that will allow me to finally play my PC copy of Splinter Cell: Conviction without the Earth magically vanishing, play Garry's Mod without heating up high enough to cook bacon on, and allow me to play The Old Republic on high graphics should I win the lottery and be able to afford it.
They are both pretty terrible, ESPECIALLY for how much you are paying.
If I don't HAVE to build a computer, why the Hell should I?
It's cheaper, by a LOT.
You can choose better parts for the same price.
You get to actually do something.
You can upgrade later down the line without voiding the warranty.
You can overclock if you so desire.
Parts are better quality and each part has it's own warranty (No need to send the whole computer in).
The computer as a whole will last a lot longer.
Prebuilts always have worse build quality and quality control.
It isn't infested with OEM only hardware, OEM BIOS restrictions or other nonsense.
OEM power supplies are terrible and rarely last more than 3 years (Unless it's an optiplex).
If you don't HAVE to make dinner, why the hell should you? Go get Mcdonalds, the same analogy applies for both why you could and why you really, really shouldn't.

#1
#2
And no #3 because my PS3 has a small text limit.
But the first has a far better graphics card.
And as for your McDonald's analogy, I enjoy the french fries there much more than the abomination I would create if I tried to cook.
