I just had to switch to a wired laptop usb mouse, and I was wondering what do you people think is better wired mouse, or wireless mouse? Why and why not?
Wired has better response time and doesnt need batteries.

I prefer wireless mice because of the freedom of movement. I never have that cord tugging or dragging against the desk.
The only annoyance is changing batteries but after buying my Sidewinder X8 I will never buy a wireless mouse that I cannot recharge through a dock or cord overnight.

The Sidewinder line includes mice, keyboards, gamepads, joysticks and a few other peripherals. The Sidewinder mice were first produced before the keyboards.
I like wireless more, so I don't have to worry about cords and the batteries on my mouse last for like *exaggerates* 20 years or a century, depends on how much I use it. But seriously the batteries aren't terrible and I've never had any response time problems. And I used to always get the wires tangled.
I prefer wired, no batteries, wires don't really get too tangled if you don't have a mess of computer desk. Only downside I can think of is the fact that you have to deal with the wire upon packing it up into a case when your taking your laptop and stuff with you.
I use a semi-wired mouse myself. (Logitech G700) I use it wired on my desktop, and when I want to use it on my laptop I just remove the cord from the mouse and plug the 1 centimeter big receiver (usb connector included) into the laptop. I don't have to worry about batteries because those get charged when I use it as wired and they last about 4 days.

Just ignore the troll and report his post instead, guys.
Something more about my G700; when I plug in the cord it automatically starts charging and switches to a higher response rate along with throwing all data through the cable instead of the wireless receiver. I personally don't notice much difference tho, both wireless and wired works great on this model.
Wired, because I'm afraid for the amount of frequencies around me (Wireless headset, router, etc.) might f up my mouse when I'm in the middle of something important...
I prefer wireless due to the fact that I don't have to mess with cables and move them out of the way. 2 AA batteries every 2 months isn't really that bad. Wired mice and keyboards just make a mess.

Now that's just mean.
Thinking about coming a mod to simply not moderate.

I realize that you don't like macs, but seriously, relax. You're kinda being a douche about it.
