Recently I bought a razer deathadder v2 but it cant doubleclick at all, and I just realized it has a doubleclick prevention. Is there a way to fix this?
Thank you for the quick response. Can you tell me the exact place to find the app? I found only the synapse programs ( i have mac so i can dowload only synapse 2)
No, razer mice use optical switches, which means they cant doubleclick. RIP to you and your butterfly clicking.
Please explain?
That makes no sense what-so-ever, it shouldn't make any difference what type of switches you have, double clicking is just clicking twice.
Then it's up to the hardware/software to determine whether to interpret it as two separate clicks or a double click depending on how close together they are.
I just watched a video about the deathadder v2, and it cant doubleclick but maybe there is a way to fix it, for example setting up the hardware part, like modifing the mouse. The doubleclick prevention in in the mouse not in the software. So im asking if there is an hardware or software way to fix this

I think the only way to fix this is to replace the switch with one that can doubleclick, but then your warranty is voided.

Doubleclicking in the PVP community is when you "swing" your finger into the mouse button, to make a buzzing sound, and create two, possibly even three clicks. It uses a flaw in mechanical switches, where it vibrates a bit, causing multiple clicks. Most mice use debounce delay, so any clicks between the last one and a certain time get blocked. Optical switches are specifically built to counter this. (and to reduce around 3ms of latency, but this doesnt matter right now)

It's pretty brainless for people to try to re-use a commonplace global term which has been around for decades. Everyone on the planet knows what "double clicking" really means. And it has nothing to do with gaming!

True, I do know that, but I am quite sure they were not talking about that type of doubleclicking.
I can suggest you a to take CPS Test this will help you increase your cps and also can try various other methods like butterfly such as jitter clicking, drag clicking, kohi clicking etc..

There's probably an app for that.
Try at:

Just testing.

Well, since Synapse is a configuration program for changing settings and such that's what I'd try.

I have Logitech mice so I have no idea what it does or how to use it.
Just testing.
Ok i'll try and im going to do some tests. I'll tell you tomorrow

This is completely false.

Judging by this screenshot from their official site, it is not.

I realized i cant doubleclick with the optical switch. But i can jitterclick very fast like 15 cps so its fine

Edit: above reply further proves my point.
Yeah, you cant doubleclick with any mice, but you can butterfly click with any mice
