So recently I got a GeForce GT 1030, I'm very pleased with it but when I try to put desktop icons on both screens, after several minutes both screens go black for a few seconds and when they come back on all the icons are back on my main monitor. I might try reinstalling the drivers since I originally installed them with only one monitor.
I've replaced the VGA cable but the HDMI to VGA adapter is, I think, the problem, I already returned the first one I bought and I don't feel like doing it again, I'll just live with it.

Just curious, that's all.
Graphics driver crashing sounds possible too. Try uninstalling and reinstalling driver, and yeah, check the cables are plugged in properly too.

The company that made the adapter offered to replace it and I'm just trying it out, it seems to work fine.
Just curious, that's all.
If the only option your monitor has is VGA, you'd be better off getting a new monitor.
The new adapter does the same thing.
Just curious, that's all.
