I was so exited when my parents said they would buy me a game. Atm the PC in my house isn't set up and my Mom asks me if we can get it on this laptop. This laptop isn't that old, maybe a year or two old. I don't think this laptop can run 1.9 but who knows.
Thanks to any replies to this comment helping me out

Ah yes every single integrated GPU to ever exist is bad simply because it's integrated. No, you're wrong. The 6520G isn't that bad (beats Iris Pro 540 and R7-240 - two GPUs that can run Minecraft, and isn't far off a dGPU like the HD 6670/6750). Sure, it's not exactly a great GPU, but it's not bad either and it will run MC fine, maybe not at full settings, but it will probably pull near 60 on the lowest settings (or use OptiFine).
@OP, although it should theoretically run MC, have you actually bought this laptop yet? If not, what is your price and currency because we can likely get you a better one for the price.
Where on earth do you see that the 6520G beats the Iris 540 and R7-240?? According to Notebook check, it's similar to the Radeon HD 6370M, which is 5 times slower than the Iris 540.
Also to answer your question, no it won't run. I mean it might, but it won't be playable.
The A6-3400m has horrific single thread performance, and the shoddy GPU isn't helping you at all

Futuremark. Didn't realize it only pitted it using 3DMark, my bad.
Although according to PassMark it is essentially performing the same as Intel HD 4000, and in UserBenchmark it shows essentially the same results. Intel HD 4000 can handle Minecraft well and definitely playable, so this GPU should handle MC just fine. If all else fails (assuming OP already has this laptop) they can use OptiFine. The MC benchmarks on the MC wiki have a few instances of Intel HD 4000 at different resolutions that show it's working well too.
Although it is quite a bad APU altogether it'll handle a game like Minecraft fine, OptiFine could be used but it'll likely pull 60 at the lowest settings. Minecraft isn't exactly CPU intensive after all.
Keep in mind that PassMark doesn't exactly translate to real-world performance.
One thing is I actually owned a laptop with a APU like this (it was a toshiba with an A8-6410) which theoretically should've ran MC with no issues. However, even on the lowest settings I got only around 30-40 fps. I thought mine was defective so I got another laptop (a lenovo) with identical specs. Same exact problem. I was running the newest and correct drivers, newest version of Java and Optifine, and had it at lowest settings.
Then I said screw it and returned that laptop, and got a Lenovo with an i3-4010U and HD 4400, and I got literally almost triple the FPS on the same settings. At this point I'm assuming that Minecraft just doesn't like slow CPUs.
Tried running MC on a Pentium D 930 and GTX 980 once just for kicks. Wouldn't budge past 10fps no matter the settings.
Bit of an extreme case, but supports your theory I guess? *shrugs*
I did try to run my GTX 970 and an AMD Athlon 4400+ , and I got very odd performance. On single player it wouldn't go past 20-30 fps, however on multiplayer it would get 50-100 fps with random dips down to 10-20 fps.
Umm, thanks for these replies, I got the laptop a few years ago and my mom said I should give it a go trying to get it to work I know there are other games I can get on this laptop that I can play and atm I am not even sure the PC I have would even work with it. The PC i would be getting setup would be like 10+ years so not much luck intended
I would upgrade my computer (not laptop) if I had enough money. That means I have to save up pocket money which will literally take ages. I live in New Zealand and here it's not that easy to find a job being 14
Any reccomendations on pcs or laptops that are good in New Zealand that are cheap and/or reliable???

I mean you could aways try to run MC on the laptop if you want, just download the free demo and find out for yourself. Some people are fine with 20 fps, others (like me) cannot play below 60 fps.
As for a new computer, do you have some sort of budget?

I thought he had only an integrated GPU.
The Radeon 6520G IS an integrated GPU. Doctapper is saying that not all integrated GPUs are bad. This one, however, is bad.

Just an update: I got Minecraft on the laptop, runs fine, 20 - 30 fps is fine until I can update my laptop/computer

Good to hear that you're satisfied.
Personally I wouldn't be fine with 20 fps, but if it works for you, then that's all that matters
