I was playing Super Metroid on the ZSNES Emulator. I close the emulator but I still hear the music of the game...Help? I fully closed the emulator and I still hear the game. I check Task Manager to see if was still running but it's not.

SNES9x wouldn't exist without ZSNES to be fair. A lot of the parts like Blargg's stuff that is in snes9x made it's debut as components of ZSNES.
ZSNES has one advantage in that it supports Virtual Surround that works with Dolby ProLogic II, which allows many games like SuperFX titles and some JRPGs to sound better. On the other hand, SNES9x has more accurate SPC700 emulation. (SMW spin jump being one example. If you don't have or have never played a real SNES you might never know ZSNES is screwing it up).
ZSNES also has a more accurate NMI Timing. But it's a mixed bag as to whether that's helpful. Ironically, more accurate timing can actually throw a player off.
Personally I use a SNES. I have most of the games worth playing. For those I Don't (and ROM hacks), I use SNES9x. (though I also use a Super UFO to play ROMs on my RDP...)

I would like to add that I use SNES9X for emulating the SNES.
This is a legacy account, meaning it is no longer active
