So yeah, recently becoming more and more crucial for me to get a secondary monitor in the nearby future due to me doing quite a bit of multitasking. Probably won't get it until sometime this summer, but I'd like a general idea on a good monitor I should start looking for. (I'm going to wait until I save up more money. Like to have headroom.) Please don't tell me that prices fluctuate, because I just need a general idea on something to get. Recommend a few monitors perhaps and I'll have an idea on what to go for. Thinking of either sticking with Acer or Asus. (My parents both own pretty decent Asus monitors and I personally own a 1680x1050 P221w Acer monitor.) That or should I get a 1920x1200? I do quite enjoy the 16:10 aspect ratio, but using that can be a bit of hassle when recording. Either way I can record myself at a lower resolution. Is there a real difference? Should I get that as I'm using 16:10 at the moment?

I have a monitor in mind that meets both the 150$ price and 1920×1080, the Asus VS247H-P.
The image quality is pretty good, the response time is 2ms, it has a low power consumption and if you want to connect it to a PS4 or Xbox, this monitor also has HDMI.

Looks like a nice monitor. I'll keep that in mind.
