Here is my setup if it does not work please tell me what I need upgrade first i have a apu so a gpu or graphics card and cpu this is a Amd A10 5800k Apu next is motherboard witch is a MSI FM2 A75MA E35 Motherboard next is the ram with Is a 8GB Corsair Vengeance DDR3 kit next is hard drive witch is a 500GB western digital Caviar Blue Hard Drive NZXT Source 210 Case 430W Corsair CX430 Power Supply Os Windows 8 System Builder
I would expect you'd be able to run some of the less intense mods fairly well. You may struggle as worlds become busier, especially with a lot of entities and chunks loaded. I wouldn't recommend running a server on that system.
The fact is that your processor isn't exactly that strong. In order to play more intense stuff, you'll need to turn your settings down, or upgrade your hardware.
