-.- Why not me??? (Cries and complains)
Anyways, my internet is a lot better now (Cox) than it was before (AT&T)
I'm supposed to have 20 Mbps, up and down. (I do use WiFi though)
Amusing your download speed is but 1Mb higher than mine. And upload is 0.10Kb higher than mine. I have Centurylink as well to say, only provider of HSI in my area, besides crap-tastic Hughes net.

It's the only thing I can get as well. It really sucks.
The problem with speedtest.net is that your speed car vary drastically from server to server. Some servers limit me to 10 Mbps upload, others I can get to nearly 200 Mbps upload. My download speed is generally around 200 Mbps as well on most servers from speedtest, but I peaked over 600 Mbps down when downloading about 12 games at once from EA.

...I want your internet
But mine is good enough. I have no real reason to want 200 Mbps. I get 15 to 20ish Mbps.
Ahhh. Embarq was amazing before Century Link came and bought them out. :3
Yes, very.
The modem I have, Embarq 660R, is amazing. I used to get peaking speeds and absolute no dropouts really other then natural causes.
Now it drops out randomly, DNS errors (yet I use 3 diff DNS servers), and it isn't modem nor router. Their server just drops connections for some bizarre reason when ever they want to. This is after Centurylink came to be.
Not to say the cost is just to bloody high. 65 USD because kind of forced to, given dry loop costs same. So have to have phone service to get discounts, else it would be about 75 USD just for 4Mb down, 512Kb up DSL.
It is funny though, past 15Mbps, kinda gains one nothing. Since most servers with common sense configurations limit downloads to at max 25Mbps depending on service.
Over WIFI, would probably be more faster if I was closer.

Recently got an upgrade
Regardless, here's mine.
I would so, so happily drop down to 50-60mbps downstream in order to double my upstream.
Grade: F
WUT, It is almost perfect.
Hey everyone, I'm back!
Go home Speedtest, you're drunk.
Picked one half way across the state.
Well, I guess that's pretty good.
I can see why, you have CenturyLink

Holy S*** 397mb/s?
Faster than 99% of US? Damn, I need to get Verizon FIOS. You must be able to download gigabytes of data extremely fast.
Here is mine:
How did you guys get 65 mbps? Not that I'm complaining though
Not really, look at my test:
That's average for verizon, I have no fricken idea how he got that speed

I'm on a campus with one of the fastest internet connections in the US. Heh

I looked on Verizon's website and I found that their highest speed tier is 500 mb/s download . So I can see how he got that kind of speed.

5 GB movie in 1 minute? Fast.
