Let's see...
Microsoft Windows XP Home Edition Version 2002 Service Pack 3
Inter(R) Pentium(R) M processor 1.73GHz 1.73 GHz 1.99 GB RAM
55.8 GB total space 14.9 GB used space 40.9 GB free space
Phenom II X2 @ 4 Cores Enabled overclocked to 3.4GHz (Non Black-Edition, argh..)
4GB DDR3 1600 RAM @ 1733MHz or some clock speed like that
Sapphire (Non-Reference sadly) ATI 5870 1GB @ 900MHz/1300MHz
The rest is arbitrary and doesn't really matter, though I do own a 3D 22" LCD.
processor: AMD Turion(tm) x2 Ultra Dual-Core Mobile ZM-80 2.10 GHz
Memory (RAM) 4.00 GB
System type: 32- bit Operating System
Model: HP Pavilion tx2500 Notebook PC
Windows Vista Home Premium
Touch screen / tablet part cracked due to boyfriend dropping it T.T ( I died a lil)
I've got a friend who's looking to buy a new computer, thinks that if he doesn't get an i7 with a GTX480 and the likes he won't be able to play games. I keep trying to convince him that he doesn't need to spend this much money when he can't hardly afford it just to play great games (he's head over heals about the new FFXIV).
I've found this rig to play just about anything I want at medium-high, but its slowly starting to find out that high isn't quite within its range on the newest games.
Core 2 Duo T9300 @ 2.5Ghz
4Gb RAM
NVidia 9800GTS w/ just shy of 3Gb memeory, 1Gb being dedicated
300Gb 7200rpm HDD (dont know much about it)
Realtek HD Audio onboard
Nothing fancy, but for a laptop it sure gets the job done. And what do you know, I JUST got more texts about his dream rig out of the blue...
I know, but I'd still much rather have the ability to use higher multipliers. It's embarassing as well since the non-Black Edition X2 550 cost more than the Black Edition.
Anyway, I don't have a nifty HSF, just the stock cooler, though it works well enough I suppose.
I could possibly go higher if I had a better HSF, but I simply don't have the money now that I'll be jobless in 2 weeks.
Oh well.
Just to point out, the "Specs" that i posted of "My computer" are not actually my computer.... I thought someone would've picked up on that by now.
Actual specifications are: [email protected] on Stock-Cooler
4Gig DDR3 1333Mhz
500Gig Sata 2 100Mbps R/W
GTX260 Sp216, "Superclocked" apparently. Performs on par with a standard GTX275
HAF932 Case, with Dual 30CM blue cathodes.

The original specs you posted aren't that odd or unbelievable to be honest.
If you had posted that you had a Core i7 980-X with Crossfired 5970s though...

It's far from unebelievable, but many people who "Think" they know stuff about computers, would rage and say that it's not what i own, i wanted to see how many people on these forums are like that, turns out there are none.
The funniest thing happened today. A kid told me he was running Tri-Sli with GTX460's. I laughed hard.
Don't understand why? Read into it :biggrin.gif:

Black unlocks multipliers. Do not need, providing you have a firm understanding of what voltages will work at what frequency, and a nifty CPU cooler.
