First of all, I don't know if I should build it myself or get a pre-built computer. I've never built a computer before. I don't even know what Intel and AMD mean. Obviously I would have no idea what I'm doing.
Sooo on that note, I need a gaming desktop to play and record Minecraft at 1080p using FRAPS on Minecraft's highest settings. I need something that will play Minecraft on far render distance, smooth lighting, all particles, etc without any lag or freezing. I am also a web designer so I do a lot of graphics designing and stuff. I'm looking for something under $800. I only have $13.00 to my name but I'm saving up lol. I just wanted to get a list of parts or links to pre-builds so I can easily get everything once i have the money. Thanks!
Also I need a monitor and keyboard. I have a mouse already.
It would definitely be better to assemble it yourself. I would suggest familiarizing yourself with the parts first. Do some research, and maybe pop open the side panel of an old desktop or something (there is almost no risk of messing something up by just taking off the panel, unless you drop something in it of course) and try to see what part is what. Also, check out the "Computer Building General Knowledge Guide" sticky in this forum.
It really would be better if you come back when you have the money. Computer components are constantly being updated and outdated, and as such a build put together now may not be a good buy a couple of months later.
