My friend got a really awesome space heater for Christmas. Might be a bit too powerful for the size of her room, though.
The admin of a MC server I got banned from also got a really nice heated blanket. I doubt he'll be able to have children after a few months with this baby.
And finally, to be a complete butthole, I got another friend with a notably obsolete and horrible computer Doom II for Christmas after telling him he'd better upgrade his rig for my present. I'm a horrible person.
i5 4670k @ 4.9GHz - Stock Heatsink - The rest is melted silicon but I think I have a graphics card in there somewhere It surprises me how many people on this forum can't read benchmarks.
Luckily I can CNC out the front and back panels for practically nothing. Plan to add the ODAC eventually, though that means a new back panel unfortunately.
Sonic Screw Driver (10th's)
A Inorganic and Organic molecule kit
Two Lego Architectures (I collect them kind off---None above 50 though)
No Joke my friend gave me an old Dell server (3 HHD's in it...score) yeah it is 2.8 Ghz single core processor... Still I put it to good use
Some good in ear head phones (Sennheisen...quality brand)
And I got total 200 dollars from family!!!! Now I have 800 out of the 1100 I want for my first ever computer build.

I always wanted to argue with a brick wall, I suppose the internet is the second best option.
$70 in Steam gift cards (so far I've bought Anno 2070 and Black Ops II)
$60 Spotify gift card
$50 in cash
An awesome magnetic levitating desk glope
National Geographic "The Book of Knowledge"
Nate Silver's "The Signal and the Noise"
And a bunch of other stuff like fiction books that aren't remotely techy.
I got an FX-6300, an Asus Xonar DG soundcard and a pair of SR850s. I bought the ASRock 970 Extreme3 AM3+ for myself which is now sitting the 6300. Pics will be in the system thread soon!
Only thing left to upgrade is probably getting a new monitor, getting a new headset and a sound card with amazon cards.

I bought myself an early present in the form of a Toshiba Satellite U840W 14.4" widescreen Ultrabook. This is identical to that of the U845W, except that it was intended as a European release. I got it new online from an Amazon seller for $711. I have seen the U845W model on sale at Fry's for $899.99, vs. a regulat price of $999.99.
It has the Intel Core i5 3317U 1.7 GHz processor, which has Intel 4000 integrated graphics. I don't know how well such a setup would be able to play Minecraft with all the mods I am using, so I may stick to playing on my Shuttle PC I built back in August. It also has 6GB RAM, a 500GB 5400RPM HDD, 3 USB ports, but no optical drive. So I bought an external drive to go with it.

ultrabook with no SSD? thats kinda weird, usually they have a SSD instead of HDD for the battery life boost, i'd ram one into it and drop the HDD

Thinking about coming a mod to simply not moderate.

Heh, I got the exact same thing. I'm going to see if I can use it as a case fan and LED controller. If not, oh well, should be fun for other projects.
I also got a pair of Sennheiser HD202's, they sound better than I imagined.
And a 500GB Barracuda (a good one from Thailand) which is currently formatting in my computer right now.
