So what kind of techy stuff did you get for Christmas? Or whatever you celebrate around this time of year. Also do you plan on getting and tech related stuff with money you got? Discuss, post pics, and so on below.
Personally I got some new headphones which I'm loving, my dad also gave me $120 to spend however I want so I might get a gamepad so I can play racing games and 3rd person games better. Or I will just get an adapter so I can use my gamecube controller. Might also get an audio amp such as a Xonar DGX for my PC and a FiiO 5/6/7 for my iPod.
Sadly all my flashlights are broken, or missing batteries, or missing themselves. They would have been handy when I lost power for a couple of days back when Sandy hit.
I never did post a lot, but now I'm leaving forever. This forum in general is a joke, with the crappy mods, handing out infractions like nobody's business, and just being plain stupid. There's that and there's the amount of stupidity that members hold nowadays. XDA Developers and OCN here I come!
I had, €380, before. My mum and dad gave me €200 each today, so that got me up to that, but my mum told me she was going to give me €400. It makes me sound really ungrateful saying this, but I really wish she could've just gave me what I asked for, the money, but instead she went out and bought me a really expensive, badass I must say, desk from Ikea. I really am grateful for what she got me, but god, I was looking so forward to ordering my parts, I'm really upset tbh. I don't want to say it to her though, I'll probably ask when she can give me the other 200 in a few days..
That's still a good amount of money to build a system with, i would right more but i have to go so... What kind of desk is it?
Is that fart putty? XD
Jokes aside, does it not make your stuff sticky?
I would actually enjoy that a bit more.
It doesn't make them sticky, it's supposed to clean them somehow. It doesn't make things sticky or leave a residue and it kind of works on getting gunk out.
Kind of.
I don't really have anything dirty enough to use it on.
Apart from it's got a glass top with a picture of the world on it, only it's in black. And the legs aren't attached to the desk. I'll try take a picture later on.

It shouldn't, I saw it at a local store, they were demoing it.
Rubbing it all over your hands does nothing. Not sticky, not slimy, nothing.

Two really wide and identical DELL monitors for my Mid-2011 Mac Mini, 8GB of RAM for that same computer, a 7" Kindle Fire HE that I am using to type this sentence, a really comfy computer swivel chair, and a case/protective screens for the Kindle. And... that's pretty much my entire Christmas.
Nokia Lumia 920 and wireless charging plate. Also got a fountain pen if that counts as tech. Oh, my dad got a kindle paperwhite, its actually very cool.
EDIT: Missed something important, my brother is building one of these:
It's practically an Arduino hooked up to make it like a monome.
My new gaming computer was my present, I got it a tad early. 3570k/7970 renders like a champ when Vegas feels like using OpenCL.

i5 4670k @ 4.9GHz - Stock Heatsink - The rest is melted silicon but I think I have a graphics card in there somewhere It surprises me how many people on this forum can't read benchmarks.

Heheh, just you wait until it goes a muddy green and starts to leave residue.

Thinking about coming a mod to simply not moderate.
