10/10. Holy crap, what do you do with that thing!?
No build yet, but here's the planned one (plus $50 wifi card, $40 firewire card, $300-$400 monitor): http://pcpartpicker.com/p/7xSH
Probably going to go apply for a summer job tomorrow, or at least in the next few days.
Eww, amd! Nah, it's actually nice looking, the 6850 is very good if my father's 6970M is any judge of that. 9/10?
Any pics?
Can it run Linux? You might manage to fit a minimal install with one of the lower-resource intensive web servers on there, it could be a fun project...
well actually the 6970m is an underclocked 6850
Edit: read my sig (laptop one or desktop your choice).
Edit 2: I have no build to on....

6/10
Processor is fine, but not that great. Same with the HSF. RAM is fine, if a bit overkill. Mobo is overpriced and pretty much useless for gaming or video editing. GPU is good, but it isn't the best out there, and it's barely better than a much cheaper 560ti-448. Storage is fine, but not the best as far as SSD's go. PSU is fine. Case isn't the best, but it's pretty good.
-snip-
I'm wondering what your deducting points for? The CPU is pretty good for gaming. The Hyper 212 is also a good HSF for mild overclocks. RAM was for MC server, now it is just RAM cache and disks with the extra 8GB. Mobo was a B-day present, I guess I need to use it so I don't hurt any feelings. I understand SSD and GPU. I plan on getting new case

I'm going with 10/10 being the absolute best out there, while 1/10 is the worst computer you can buy.

Oh. I thought it was a different way. I think 6/10 is fair for my build then.

9.5/10 quite solid build
Only thing better could've been an Atx motherboard and maybe a better case IMO (I hate HAF series, cuz they ugly)
I just got the cheapest motherboard I could find that had front panel USB 3.0 headers and SATA 6.0 Gb/sec XD
Unfortunately in Australia at a budget between $100 and $150 for a case, there aren't many good choices. If I lived in the US, I would have got a Phantom without a second's thought.
Performance Wise: 8.5/10
Component Choice: 9.5/10 (I don't trust OCZ for SSD's)
Going to post my old computer. I didn't build it, but it's not a prebuilt.
Intel Core i7 920 @ 2.6GHz
4GB DDR3 1066 RAM
ATI Radeon 4850
Some ASUS P6T mobo, not sure which.
Some Antec Earthwatts PSU (500 Watts)
And I don't remember what HDD it has, but I know it was from Seagate or Western Digital.

Hard to rate because unsure of some things and your intentions.
The ram is confusing, "2x4GB" + "2x2GB", better off keeping it simple dual channel instead mixing it like that. I am really unsure how having 2 2GB in dual channel, then 2 4GB in a channel works out. But should be fine I guess.
Unsure on the motherboard. I would look around more on that part.
Do you really need a IPS monitor? Those are not for a gamer really if at all. Unless you doing some color accuracy demanding things of that nature, then get a IPS. By that I mean digital art, photo work or editing with color precision.
If not, don't get a IPS... But your money so you can decide.

2x4GB + 2x2GB = 12GB. A good compromise between 8GB and 16GB. There's no reason for it not to work.
The mobo is cheap, has a lot of features, and is hackintosh-compatible.
Monitor-wise, yeah, I like IPS too much to go back to TN. Some panels are very close to TN in terms of response time (6ms vs 2ms).
