Noctua NH-D14 (or Hyper212EVO?)
120Gb SSD (not sure which one)
500Gb HDD (not sure which one)
Some DVD burner
ASUS VS248 monitor
8/10 : non-modular PSU. But good for it's usage.
PSU it's clearly just a matter of preferences. For the SSD I agree, check out my all-new-and-shiny topic for your tips

9/10, -1 point for having way too large PSU for the system and only overclocking to 4ghz.
My system:
CPU: i7 2600k 4.6GHz, cooled by a Corsair A70
GPU: Galazy GTX 480 @ 844mhz core
RAM: 8gb Mushkin DDR3
Motherboard: ASRock P67 Extreme4 Gen3
PSU: Antec Earthwatts Green 650w
SSD: 120gb Corsair Force 3
HDD: 2TB Seagate Barracuda Green
OS: Windows 7
9/10
Little bit outdated GPU (not removing points), but Corsair ssd, haven't heard too great things from their ssds
Edit: Read my sig (desktop or laptop)

I'm kinda jealous that you're able to overclock your 6850 higher than mine.

Eww, amd! Nah, it's actually nice looking, the 6850 is very good if my father's 6970M is any judge of that. 9/10?
Can it run Linux? You might manage to fit a minimal install with one of the lower-resource intensive web servers on there, it could be a fun project...

No build yet, but here's the planned one (plus $50 wifi card, $40 firewire card, $300-$400 monitor): http://pcpartpicker.com/p/7xSH
Probably going to go apply for a summer job tomorrow, or at least in the next few days.

For the case, and also the H80, the Noctua DH-14 is good.

9.9/10, absolute beautiful system, 'cept the samsung hdd scares me for some reason. (shudders)

CPU: 3930k GPU: 7990 PSU: TX850Wv2 Case: HAF X Cooler: H100 (I like it) HDD: 1 120GB for start, and 6TB for storage. Mobo: Asus Rampage IV Extreme RAM: 16Gb
Do not get an ivy bridge, they are a useless upgrade from sandy bridge. If you overclock you cant cool it down because of intel's fancy sauce, but i like the H100

10/10, a truly powerful editing build, although some parts are on the expensive side.
Please rate the build above you before posting your own build.
My specs are in sig, ignore the two above me as they didn't rate.

Processor is fine, but not that great. Same with the HSF. RAM is fine, if a bit overkill. Mobo is overpriced and pretty much useless for gaming or video editing. GPU is good, but it isn't the best out there, and it's barely better than a much cheaper 560ti-448. Storage is fine, but not the best as far as SSD's go. PSU is fine. Case isn't the best, but it's pretty good.
Now for mine.
CPU: AMD Phenom II 955 BE
HSF: Stock (I'm not OC'd)
Mobo: ASRock 970 Extreme3
RAM: G.Skill (Ripjaws, I think) 2x4GB DDR3 1600MHz
GPU: MSi R5770 HAWK (Radeon 5770 w/ Twin Frozr II and factory OC)
HDD: WD Caviar Blue 500GB SATA3
PSU: Antec Basiq 550 Watt (semi-modular, works fine)
Case: Coolermaster HAF932 Advanced Edition (Shoulda gone with a 650D/Phantom)
1)Laptop
2)Dell
3)core duo
4)no gpu
Guys, what about staying on topic here and creating anotherone for your build ?
