I though Alienware was good, Macs were computers with a different OS, and HP and Dell were good quality. That was a long time ago.

I thought that RAM was like HDD space because it stood for Random Access Memory. I thought that the computer randomly chose if it would use RAM or HDD space when I downloaded something. I thought the monitor was the computer (what 5 year old doesn't think that?) and I thought everything on the Internet was trustworthy.

then i built one its the most powerful computer in my house. also! im the only one in my house that knows the most on computers

All the normal misconceptions.
It can cause issues though.
Not particularly good for it anyway, could possibly corrupt data.
And the compuer was the screen. Took me about 3 years to learn otherwise.

Alienware used to be good. (these prices are actually pretty decent for the time.)
I used to for some reason think USB was the end-all-be-all of ports, and my first build had 4x PCI USB hubs.
It also had something like 2TB worth of HDDs and I was told "you would never use all that" (keep in mind this is the mid-00s).
