It was suggested to me that I wait for these (GK104 and GK107) before I order my graphics card. I can't seem to find any release dates for these, anyone have any ideas what they might be?
I built my own computer in 2012, Specs are: Intel i3-2100, Amd radeon 5570, 8GB of ram, 500GB Hard drive, Antec One case, Z77A G43 Motherboard, OCZ 600W PSU. Windows 7 64 Bit.
Also I have a youtube channel https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCc9Bi9r4UPZbAWyuRKBJeoA
I like to play games on steam like Garry's Mod and robocraft.

I would probably check out estimated release dates for nVidia's GK104- and GK107-based cards. It seems they're pricing to undercut AMD (i.e. HD7970 @ $550, GTX680 @ $499), and they seem to provide identical or better performance than their AMD counterparts.
But, if you must have it now, GTX560Ti-448 or, if you can find it low (I the minimum I saw one at was $279.99, but it helps to look), an HD7850.
Is there really a GPU that's worth waiting for, or should I just go for the 560 Ti -448?
What games do you want to play? Is the 680 to much?

Well, the 600 series consumes less power, that's one reason.

I'm limited to around $260. The 560 Ti - 448 is well within range. Should I go ahead and purchase it, or is there something worth waiting for? Also, quick question, is the EVGA one the best, which would you get of the 560 Ti - 448?

EVGA or MSI for the 560 Ti 448, MSI you can get Twin Frozr II which is better for overclocking, but EVGA produces the best 560's on the market at the moment. I personally overclock and prefer the MSI for this reason, but EVGA isn't a bad brand at all.

Get The twin frozr version (I think they are from MSI)
They are BEST for overclocking and can match up close to a gtx 580 at high overclocks

I have a Asus P8Z68-V LX. Will I even be able to overclock on this, because if not, I'll just get the EVGA one. Otherwise I'll go for the Twin Frozr II.

Yes all Z68 motherboards can overclock
Only H67 can't
And p67 series can oc but have no integrated graphics

I'm sure it doesn't matter what chip-set it is when it's the GPU....

I don't recommend the MSI one. The Zotac is better, cheaper and comes with Battlefield 3. I also think you should look into the 7850. Cheaper and about the same performance.

A) Can't get an ATi.
How is it better? Can you show me proof/evidence? So far the MSI is winning, but that Battlefield 3 is appealing.

Why can't you get an AMD Graphics card?
And it's better because its $40 cheaper, it should run the same as the MSI one, and it comes with Battlefield 3 for free.
If you want to overclock, get the 7850. Cheaper then the MSI card, and about the same as the 560 ti 448 core. So when you overclock it, it beats a 570.

Because ATi and Linux don't like each other. And I like Linux.
How will it overclock? I mean, I can afford the Twin Frozr one, but if the Zotac cools just as well, I'd be happy to get that.
Thanks.

A bit expensive, but oh well. I'll live. xD
(I won't be getting an SSD, though)
