As the title says, my earphones got wet about 10 minutes ago and I tried them, now sound that comes from it sounds a bit like if it had a lot of echo, I know this because I heard songs I had recently heard and they weren't the same.
I also heard the same song through a pair of earphones (only the left one works though) and it I confirmed that it sounded like echo.
I need help, do you guys know how I can save my earphones? I would appreciate any rational way!
You could try soaking them in 99% isopropyl rubbing alcohol this would remove anything in the water left in them and get the water out as alcohol is an evaporating agent.
I put them in a bag of rice for about 4 hours and now they are sounding normal, well, at least I think I remembered them that way.
The right one is still having a bit of the echo, but I'll dip them in the rice bag overnight and I hope they get back to what they were.
