Is there a GPU client for Linux? I'm currently at 205000/500000 with my 2500k, but I was thinking of using my GTS450 instead. However the high performance clients page seems to lack a GPU version for Linux.
I'll just overclock it to 500GHz and I'll be right on top... after returning from the hospital burn ward.
LOL, well once I order my parts for my 24/7 folding rig with 2 x GTX 460s, I'll be fine. Will PCI-E speeds affect folding performance?
Also look at my location :3
That page actually also had a Linux one, thanks! Installing is so much easier than the previous version.:biggrin.gif:
As for the numbers, it was the number of completed steps on the FAHlog.txt file. Wasn't quite sure what numbers to post, but it means I am 41% done with folding a single unit.
[21:09:06] Completed 205000 out of 500000 steps (41%)
Well your welcome about the download and thanks for the number stuff =D
Nope. You can buy cables like this, which allow you to attach either 2 or 4 (forget which) GPUs into one PCIe X16 slot. The performance will be the same.
Looks like removing the SSD in my build fixed the BSOD (curse you OCZ), so now I can let it run 24/7 (excluding updates, etc.)
Also how many are using the GPU version?

I use the windows version from this site which uses the CPU and GPU. HERE
Just overclocked my i7-2600k a little bit, just one GHz to 4.4 :laugh.gif: .
Also: about 4500 PPD :laugh.gif:
Something for you guys to look at and investigate:
How come with my GTX 570 afterburner doesn't allow me to raise core voltage?
Also how would a dedicated AMD Sempron 3100+ do?(Can't let the old computer go to waste)

To change core voltages, you need to go into settings and tick the "Unlock Core Voltages" box. Your Sempron won't do much, but hey any help is appreciated!
i get 4500 ish lol, client seems to have bugged out on me so i'll reinstall it
and i didn't mean drop out entirely, just drop out from trying to hit the #1 lol
Oh ok, ya well maybe you can get 5th! But my position is 1st is seal once I get my other 2 Dell machines online and build my 24/7 folding rig up and going!

Can anyone recommend be an overclock? Whenever I do it it will freeze up on me. Also the Sempron is my neighbors buts she is getting a new one. (or should I say I'm building her a new one.)

EDIT: Because I missed a few days in this forum and I have no idea what this "folding" thing is.
(ok I have some idea but I need to know how to get started)
download
off-topic, but what are those numbers?
Thanks
downloading, it appears their servers are extremely slow
Good job bro! Now all you need to do is get 42000 points to beat me! =D
I can do it!

Don't drop out, just fold when your not using your computer. Also it's supposed to be 45000 PPD.
